Name: Paisley Blossom.
Age: 17.
Gender: Female.
District: District 8.
____________________________________________________
Appearance:
Paisley’s hair is long and consists of different nuances of blonde. Her eyes are icy blue and narrow. She has a childish look on her face, though her chinbone are quite marked. When that’s said, she’s very pretty, and she knows. Paisley is taller than most other girls, 1.76 metres tall and super skinny. She’s skinny of nature, but also because she doesn’t get the nourishment she needs.
Since Paisley is famished, she’s not strong. But she’s handy, and often sews. Because of her long legs she is a fast runner, and she’s actually very good in sports.
Everyone has a flaw, Paisley as well. She has a bad sight, and needs glasses do see properly. Since her family can’t afford it, she needs to have things, like books, close to her eyes to be able to read.
Personality:
Paisley is a nice person who tries to avoid conflicts and arguments. To do so, she agrees with everyone and accepts it if someone treats her badly. Of course this affects her, but she tries to focus on hanging among people she likes and she can trust. Paisley’s trusting other people, but not to the point where she tells people about her feelings and secrets.
Paisley might seem like a weakling, but she’s actually very though. She has a way of pushing herself forward, no matter how dark it seems. She’s been through a lot in only 17 years, but she’s learned to move on and adapt the situation.
Even though she doesn’t tell others about her feelings, many people often tell her theirs. She’s a good listener, always asking the right questions and comforting her friends.
If Paisley gets stressed out, she’s not able to think clearly. Once, a small piece of paper started burning, and Paisley freaked out and just ran away. Luckily, her grandmother was around!
History:
My name is Paisley Blossom. I got the name from the fabric, which my mother always found beautiful. My father once bought her a beautiful pillow of paisley, and I still remember the look on her face. I’d never seen her so happy before. It’s one of the best memories I have of her. Isn’t it strange how you never appreciate something before it’s gone?
I was born in the poorer parts of District 7, but we were happy, even though my parents had to work 12 hours a day to feed me and my brother, Burnet. I was nine years old when she caught the flu, and died. Grandma and I still visit her grave once a week.
My dad still worked 12 hours every day, but instead of playing with me and Burnet when he came home, he sat down in his chair drinking from those stinky bottles. He spent all his money on liquid instead of food. Luckily grandma found out, and when she couldn’t work anymore, she moved in with us. My father still drinks, but at least we get enough food – barely. I no longer pity my father. He should’ve moved on, like the rest of us. It was hard, I admit it, but you can’t live in the past.
