Amodar Estiem D7

Amodar is of a short muscular build. Peeking at about 5'7" he is one of the shortest males of District 7. He has a shaved head in an attempt to make himself look tougher. His eyes are a chocolate brown, and they always look as if he's been crying. A thin chinstrap beard is the only hair visible on his face.

He is well tanned and extremely muscular which has helped to boosthis fragile ego. He wears simple jeans and a sleeveless shirt day in and day out. The only bit of clothing he values in his attire is a pair of work boots. This pair of boots has been passed down from generation to generation in his family. He bears only one flaw to his appearance, and that is a fake leg. It relaces his right legthat was chopped off during attempted suicide.

Amodar is a very sensitive person. Easily offended by others words he finds himself crying alot. In attempts to make himself less of a target he altered his appearance. This failed andonly served to drive him deeper into a depression. Usually very quiet he keeps to himself, and he has learned to let most of the insults slide off his back.

Over the years he also gave up speaking. Feeling that itonly served as an opening for more ridicule. Everything he does is done with the intent to not draw attention to himself. He helps people, but never tries to get recognition for it. If people would stop making fun of him and look at the real him they would find a kind person. He is fiercly loyal, but only has one real friend, an elderly man.

His personality flaw is that he trusts no one. To him trust is death and people abuse trust to easily. He is also very suspicious and cold to people, never giving them room to inquire about him. This causes him tocomeoff as rude and abrasive, but it's fear that drives him.

Amodar's family is as insensitive as it gets. They have a very strict code that their family had followed from generation to generation. When Amodar came along that code was thrown into turmoil. He was not at the height the code asked for and he was far to sensitive. Infact he was the exact opposite of their code. Because of this his family shunned him, andwould abuse him. They had even told him that they wouldn't care if he died.

From a very young age it was evident that Amodar wouldn't be very tall. While the other boys were growing taller he still remained short in stature. This opened the door to much ridiculefrom his friends and even his family. Eventually even he began to believe what they told him. Believing he was a disappointment and a pathetic person.

When he was an early teen he began to work out. His muscles grew huge and unparelleled in size. This however only opened the door to more ridicule, his freakish muscles causing even more laughter. Slowly he began to withdraw into himself, with little to know interaction with others. He would go to work, do his job,and return home.

Now into the present day he is even more alone than before. Upon returning home he will go into his room and cry. His family offers no solice or comfort to him because they make fun of him. Only one person comforts him, and they're an elderly retired worker. Amodar met the man during an attempted suicide attempt. The attempt failed, thanks to the man, but Amodar suffered the loss of his leg. The man, taught him that someone would come along that would understand him.
