Quinn Hazelwood, District 7

Medium build and thin, with long, reddish brown hair. Her eyes are a dark brown, with a hint of sadness. Her face is rounded, the skin that covers it is pale and blemish free, as is the rest of her skin, except for a long scar on her left hand. Sometimes she uses dyes made from forest berries to dye her skin in elaborate designs, featuring a realistic forest theme.

She is short, most of her height coming from her legs, which are slender and graceful. Though her size suggests someone less strong, her limbs have a slightly muscular appearance.

Her regular outfit is simple. A dark green blouse, brown work pants and thick boots. A small carved wood pendant in the shape of a fox hangs about her neck constantly.

Quinn is generally speaking quiet and aloof. She is not one for large gatherings, though she does appreciate having a companion around. She has a difficult time connecting with people, and though she tries, it is not easy for her to make friends. She prefers to watch before approaching, and even then she is cautious. She is extremely loyal to the people who deserve it.

Clever and witty, she is no stranger to resourcefulness. She has often had to make do with little. She is quite creative, preferring to make her own than to buy when she has the money.

She can't understand cruelty, but sometimes her sharp tongue gets away from her, especially when she is upset. She often doesn't understand her own emotions.

Sometimes she runs from her problems rather than face them. Her bravery is often misguided, but when she is brave and determined, nothing in hell can stop her.

She stands up for her beliefs, no matter the cost. In fact, sometimes she doesn't know WHEN to shut her mouth about them sometimes.

Quinn is the second oldest of four siblings. Her mother had married young and foolishly, her husband used the family's meager earnings to pleasure himself alone while the rest of the family had to go without.

They live in a shack of a house and do the usual District 7 job. Her older sister no longer lives with them, though she visits on occasion.

Since the day she was born, Quinn has had to take care of herself and younger siblings, receiving little help from her parents. This has made her resent authority and sometimes she'll go as far as daydreaming of rebellion against the Capitol.

Because of these daydreams, her sister exploded in anger and gave her a scar on her left hand, permanently reminding to trust herself alone. As she left Quinn there, hand still bleeding, she gave a slight grin and mentioned the name of a handsome Peacekeeper and how pleased he would be with her. No one would believe that story, though.

She has never participated in the Games, though she has taken out Tesserae twice. She wants so badly to repair her family, but nothing helps. She has always dreamed of starting a family of her own, but she is unsure of what would happen with her birth family if she left.

So she stays, as she always has.
