"Red" Rayne Zleck; District Nine {FIN}

Red has long black hair that sits over her fairly dainty shoulders. She spends most of her time in simple garb, pants that can easily be worked in and a sleeveless or short-sleeved shirt. Most of her known wardrobe is either red or black and she has a beautifully hand sewn red cloak that she wears nearly everywhere.

Her eyes are a light grey, beautiful and penetrating. Her nose is is thin and long, lending to her slender face. Her jawbones are hardly noticeable and her small, round chin also lend to the appearance that he face is longer.

Red is very personable.She is sweet and kind to those she likes, always looking out for others. It was ingrained into her personality by her elder brother who was always looking out for her. On the other hand, to those she does not enjoy the company of, she is vicious and sadistic-almost a complete one eight from those she likes.

Red was raised by those that earned their living through the Hunt, however by the time she was old enough to pick up a bow to follow in their path, it was outlawed. She was instead taught to produce agriculture. She was sorely disappointed but took on her duties as well as any woman her age would do. She still enjoys taking time in the forest, however.

Rayne's favorite colour is red which has earned her both her nickname and her very specific wardrobe. She has an affinity for wolves and although she has only seen one in the forest once, she is, in a sense, obsessed. She reads anything she can get her hands on about them (which isn't a lot) and will buy anything with a wolf on it at market.

Rayne was born in District Nine during the time of the Hunters. She grew up knowing nothing more then the one true fact that she would grow up to hunt as well. and beg as she may, her parents and her elder brother refused to allow her to even touch their hunting bows. But she was ok with that. It only gave her something to look forward to. And she did.

Then her life changed around her. The Capitol decided that their district should no longer hunt. Their original trade was outlawed and they, instead, were taught to grow grain and other crops of necessity to Panem. Rayne was devastated but would never speak again the capitol. She began to learn to grow, but her heart still longed for the feel of the bow string against her fingers.

It's been a few years since the change was made and her brother was never able to let his trade go. He'd continued to hunt, now illegally in the woods. But one could only do illegal activity for so long without being caught. About a year and a half ago, the Peacekeepers discovered what he was doing. And they executed him.

Distraught with pain and anger, Rayne is constantly looking for ways to hurt the Capitol (wiht out bringing pain back upon her own family), Unfortunately for her, she has found none. As her parents grow older and begin to get sick more and more, she has started to realize that she is near inheriting the farm.
