Grace Athens ~ District 9

Grace's curly black hair, normally up in a ponytail, reaches to her shoulders. Her eyes are a chocolate brown. Grace is about 6 feet tall and 150 pounds. She is often seen as very attractive to others and loves to look her best. She wears diamond earrings which are a family heirloom passed down through generations of the girls in her family.

She doesn't have much for nice clothing, but better than a lot of the District. She generally wears anything that will make her less sensative to the tempetures in District 9. Her eyebrows are what seems like perfectly shaped and her teeth are an amazing white. Her skin is rather tan from being outside so much and her ears are often hidden by her hair. Her nails are often short and broken due to working in the fields. Her fingers are long and quick-working but she's not so quick on her feet.

Grace is very caring and will make friends with almost anyone, as long as they are nice to her. She is rather smart and strong and is willing to protect her friends. She is not generally one to start fights but won't back down if she ends up in one. She is very crafty and a great builder. Grace definately isn't one to be shy.

Grace is ocassionally rebellious and takes whatever she can get, though she is normally very loyal. She is also highly motivated. Grace tends to be a very cooperative person. She is also very courageos and determined. Grace is not one to give in to peer pressure.

Grace has a lot of faith in herself and others and is very self-confident. Though, Grace is not generally one to be forgiving too quickly. She is very honest and rarely gets jealous. She is unselfish and far from a perfectionist. Grace often has mood swings.

Grace has a rather average family. She lives with both of her parents along with her younger brother, Alex, who is 9 years old. Grace does whatever she can to protect her family, along with her cousin who is like a sister to her. Grace's cousin, Dusty, is blind. Grace often helps her with whatever she can.

Grace, having always been the slightest bit of a trouble-maker, loved to mess around as a kid. This is something she certainly hasn't outgrown. It isn't as frequent as before, but now and then she may steal something from the fields to feed her family. Being the oldest, she takes the Tesserea for the family. Her name is in the reaping quite a lot every year.

In her free time Grace likes to spend her time drawing things that she wants to build, and hanging out with her friends. She rarely gets the chance to build what she draws but likes to sketch out her ideas anyways. Grace is one to often go to the park with her cousin, Dusty. They will often just talk, trying to keep the games out of their mind as much as they can. Grace likes to keep the worry off of their minds, mostly because if it came down to it, they both know they probably wouldn't make it far.
