Appearance:
Creed is a sixteen year old who lives in District 9. His hair is a deep black. It’s short and usually messy and the front of it likes to stick up, like a flower turning towards the sun. He has a long nose that goes down his face. His ears are a little on the large side but it’s not too noticeable. His lips are chewed up but that’s his own fault. The one thing he does have going for him is his eyes. They are a very startling blue. More than once he has caught people staring at them.Personality:
He has a lightly muscled torso from working out when he can. He could never compare to a Career but he thought he could do alright. At 6’8” he pretty much overshadowed most people. He has thin legs that look like they could be broken with someone’s bare hands. His left hand was burned when he was younger, the skin now scared and unnatural. He prefers to wear the common wear of District 9; he didn’t like fashion, but who really did around here.
Creed is an interesting fellow to say in the least. He’s a brave person most of the time. He has a great fear of spider great or small. He will lose all sense of himself and lose it to fear. He does have other fears but he hides them away. He is very outgoing and positive. He can be a little annoying at time but not enough to make people to leave, just enough to get an angry scowl or two.History:
When he’s alone he opens up more. He lets his emotions out when he thinks no one can see and lately this has become more frequent. He refuses to cry while watching the Games. The only emotion he shows openly is his bravery; sometimes this is a mask to hide something deeper. His parents hope that he can make some friends who will help him expresses himself.
Creed has no fear of the Hunger Games. That’s what he says at least. Most believe he harbors something deep down that he refuses to speak about. Whenever the Games are brought up he always puts up a brave front. Claiming he could do better and he would never run away from death. It concerns his parents that he might actually volunteer one day.
In the year of the 46th Hunger Games Fredric and Bella Shielfreid gave birth to Creed Shilfreid. Creed was very loved by his parents and his grandparents. If he didn’t live where he did he could be considered a spoiled child. His grandfather told him stories of members of his family from long ago who were brave heroes who never ran away from a fight. He was told these stories until he was 13.Codeword: odair
When he was only 5 he decided to explore and old rundown shed near the edge of town. He walked in and closed the door. It was dark as he walked into the shed. Suddenly he felt sticky threads on his face and arms and before he knew it he was covered in spider web, but this was not the worst part. As he tried to remove the web he felt many creatures crawling on his body. He screamed and ran out of the shed. He was covered in web and spiders and he ran straight to a puddle of water and began rolling in it, clothes and all. To this day he losses it when he sees a spider.
When he was 13 his grandparent’s house burned down. Trying to be brave like his grandpa told him he tried to enter the house thinking he could save his grandparents. He was lucky he got away with only a burnt hand. From that day on he lost all deep faith in his bravery. Now it’s only a mask he wears to hide how he really feels.
It only gets worse for poor Creed. Now his mother is ill and she is not expected to survive. His father has fallen into a state of depression and hardly leaves his mother side. He even misses work to stay with her sometimes. Creed is now left to fend for himself. He has cast off the dreams of true bravery and honor. Now he only wants a better family again.
