Lucas Jackson, District 7.

Lucas stands at five feet, nine inches tall. His curly, dark brown hair dominates most of his head, untamed by normal measures. It "poofs" up, creating a semi-unique hairstyle, reminiscent On the lean side, Lucas weighs in at a mere one-hundred-and-sixteen pounds. He's developed a small amount of muscle from his work. His skin is a light tan, darkening slightly as the year goes on from increased outdoor work in the forests.

Usually found sporting coveralls, or a jeans and flannel combination, his clothing represents the normal wear of his district. Lucas is among the few in District 7 to require glasses to correct his eyesight. The glasses he wears have a jet black plastic frame, with slightly curved lenses. A tiny worn axe made of silver adorns his neck, hung by a thin chain-link necklace. Thick woolen socks and heavy, steel-toed work boots complete his outfit. Most of the non-regulation clothes he wears are either colored blue or purple. Occasionally, Lucas wears a white-cotton sports headband to keep the hair out of his eyes.

Very determined, Lucas is a hard worker when he sets his mind to something. When he sets a goal, it is always completed to his utmost capability. He's been known to go without sleep, food, and with minimal interaction with others while in pursuit of his goals.

However, when not overly indulged in his goals, Lucas can be very sociable. He's quick to make friends, more commonly those with common interests. Some of his interests include woodworking, fletching, and sparring with local fighters. He has a deep care for his family, and holds a sense of debt to them, as though his life depends on them.

Along with his extreme determination, Lucas becomes easily frustrated and angry when things don't go according to plan, or veer off of the normal course of action. Blind-rage is often induced by this, and can cause him to make faulty or rash decisions. Lucas also never becomes too attached to people or fully trusts them, though he may give the appearance to. This can cause him to never fully solidify a friendship or partnership, as he never fully puts his effort into it.

Lucas was born the first into four children, to a middle-class family in District 7. His father worked at a press, printing materials onto the freshly made paper of the district, while his mother cared for the children. His parents had him young, and soon followed with the rest of the children. After his fourth sibling was born, early stemmed marital problems cause his mother to leave, taking his sisters and brother away. Lucas remained in District 7 with his father, which his mother and family were granted a relocation arrangement to live in District 6 with her family.

Throughout school, Lucas always studied hard, excelling and finishing basic schooling in the top ten percent of his class. Leaving schooling before completing his secondary education at the age of thirteen, he took a part-time job at a local lumber company, helping to cart wood from the chopping site back to the main mill. While the pay isn't desirable, he works enough hours that he sustains himself while supplementing his father's income as well.

Sometime after his job began, he took a chance and flirted with one of the female secretaries, a girl of his age named Jacqueline. They quickly became fast friends, her taking his flirtatious advances as openings for a friendship, and he abandoned the idea of trying for a relationship, suppressing his romanticized feelings for her into nothing but hopes and dreams. When approached by other girls, he merely stated he "had interests elsewhere".

After stabilizing his job, Lucas turned to part-time schooling shortly before his 16th birthday. Studying in both history, and his newly honed talent in fletching, Lucas was beginning to assist with woodcutting over at the mill. Soon after his 17th birthday, Lucas began creating his own bows in addition to his arrows, it quickly becoming one of his favorite tools, besides of course, his axe.

I don't know how the whole "face claim" thing works, I tried reading through but for some reason, I'm not comprehending properly, but I wanted to claim Andy Samberg as Lucas' image. When a mod goes over my character, let me know. I didn't see him on the list of claimed, so I'm assuming he's still available.
