The first thing that you notice when you see Angel, is her dark curly hair. Angel can never get this mess on top of her head under control. Others have tried too! Some with a bit of success, but only for a couple hours before it frizzed up and tangled to it's normal state again. Others with no success at all. Angel decided this was just something about her, so she got used to it. In her free time, however, when she has nothing to do, she'll attempt to comb through her hair with her fingers. It's become a habit for her, since she was about 9.

Angel has dark olive skin, with big brown eyes surrounded by long, dark lashes. Angel has an indent of the bridge of her nose from smashing into a tree while running from her older brother when she was 6. The color of her skin gets a tad blueish there, but she is rather proud of her imperfect nose. Angel has full light lips, and big white teeth that seem to gleam when she grins her signature smile- Which looks much similar to the Cheshire cat.

Angel is a shortie at the height of 5' 4", and along with that, she has a skinny figure. Angel looks a lot less... Troublesome, until she grins at mischievous Cheshire Cat grin that lets everyone know she's up to no good.

Personality:

Angel should really be held on a leash. Trouble really follows this girl everywhere, but Angel just invites it for the party. Angel is loud, happy-go-lucky, and free-spirited. Some people, mostly adults, call her 'wild' and 'a trouble maker.' Angel has even lost some friends because their parents told them they weren't aloud to hang out anymore.

Angel is a daydreamer, and brushes most rules aside. She always wondered what was outside her District, beyond the fence, but she's never actually been past. She dreams of it, and hopes one day she'll be able to sneak away. In the meantime, she makes the best of her life while she's in District 7.

Angel can be very sneaky when it comes to getting what she wants. She has shoplifted countless times, but only little things from local stores. She looks at life as if it were a game, and taking the most 'fun' routes are best. Angel doesn't look at stealing as a crime- She sees it as another game of hers. Her brother, Tulio, has also began to get her into gambling, and she has grown to become quite good at it- Not as good as her brother, however.

When you cross Angel, there are no restrictions to what she says. She'll curse you out, with plenty of comebacks up her sleeve. Angel can be as cold as ice when she needs to be, but doesn't know when the fight's really over. She NEEDS to get the last word, no matter what it takes.

Angel can be very arrogant, careless, and stupid, but she's fun, creative, sly, and wild. Angel doesn't always think before she acts, but she purely runs on instinct. She academical smarts are average: Nothing that would blow your mind, but nothing that would make you scream in terror.

Angel is very mischievous, with a good sense of humor, even when poked fun at herself. Angel can be very childish and carefree, but she is, without a doubt, entertaining to be around.

History:

Overall, Angel has had a pretty average life which is why she hates it. She has 2 little sisters, 2 older brothers, and a younger brother. Her little sisters are both 9 years old, being the twins, Evita and Anita. They both seem to do everything together, and these girly, polite girls can be shy around new people. Angel has a very good relationship with these tow, as they both look up to their older sister a lot, even though at ties, they shouldn't. Anita is a bit more outspoken then Evita, but isn't as smart as Evita. Evita is more mature then her identical twin sister, but Anita is more daring. They are both very naive, and they don't really get the Hunger Games. They both help their mother cook and clean around the house, being Angel refuses to do that.

Angel's younger brother, Aaron, thinks he is the toughest 12 year old around. He is very 'macho' and attempts to help his 3 older siblings with their jobs. Aaron is very outspoken, and even more rude then Angel. He is an independent, tough little kid, and Angel would hate seeing anything bad happen to him.

Angel's closet sibling is her older brother, Tulio. Tulio is much like Angel- Dark hair, very mischievous, a trouble maker no adult can get along with. Tuilo makes the family money by illegally gambling and being a lumberjack with Angel and Marcos, the oldest, more mature child of the Diaz's. Tulio is currently teaching Angel how to gamble and cheat her way into money, and she is picking up fast. Tulio has almost been arrested several times, but he has always managed to escape. Marcos, the littles, and their parents have no idea of the 15 and 17 year old's illegal gambling. Marcos is 19, so he cannot be reaped, although the Hunger Games seems to be the least of the Diaz's problems. There are plenty of kids in the District- What are the odds that one of them would get picked?

Angel is a lumberjack with her father and 2 brothers, and is learning how to gamble. The way her family works, they each, except for Anita and Evita and their mother, who do housework, have to come home with a certain amount of money. They don't take tresere, because Mrs. Diaz doesn't believe in begging for money from the Capital.

For most of her life, Angel has been out in the woods, running and carving drawings into trees with a pocket knife. Angel is very gifted at making these creations in the woods, although the only person she had shown them to is Tulio. Angel cut her fingers several times, so she has scars on her fingertips, but as she did more artwork, the more handy she got with the knife. Angel isn't a very good lumberjack, a she isn't very good with the ax, which is surprising being that she is from District 7. Marcos is trying to teach her how to use it.

Tiny things in Angel's life have made an indent of who she is today. She got the mark on her nose when she stole Marcos' hatchet when she was 6, and he was 10. Actually, Tulio, who was 8, stole it and handed it to Angel when he got tired. She smashed right into a tree, breaking her nose. Her parents didn't have enough money at the time to fix the nose, so she stayed like that forever, which is why she has the slightly blue and crooked nose.

Ever since Angel was born, her parents have always been real big on Spanish culture. Angel, her parents, their parents, and as far as Angel can think of, were all born in Panem. Angel cannot speak fluent Spanish, but culture such as food, a little dancing and music, stories, and so on have been passed down.
