Honey Locust |~ District 7 |~ DONE

Honey has got honey colored hair, which is also the reason for her name. It's long and may be wavy, may be straight. It depends on the time of the year. Somewhere around fall and winter, it's starting to curl up and become wavy. It's rather straight in summer.

Her eyes are grey, but can be considered blue by mistake. Despite that this is a trait more often seen in district 12, her father brought it back into the family. It was all by coincidence, and it turned out that ONE woman far back in the history of their family had grey eyes. Some people can't help it, but adore her eyes. This is something Honey can't understand, because of the fact that she hates her eyes.

She has a tiny, pretty normal nose. There's nothing really special about it. It's pretty much the nose about everyone in district 7 has. Her lips are not very special, either. They're small, but not thin in any way. They appear thick and healthy, but not wide in any way. Despite her sort of good looks, the girl is far from perfect. She is 5' 5'', and slightly underweight (108 pounds), with not-too-pale skin, as she'd like to describe it.

Honey is brave, and used to weapons. This is - of course - because of the most commonly used tool in her district, the axe. She, as well as many of the other kids, has been taught to use the axe since she was just the kid. Even though her heart is full of courage, she can be incredibly neurotic, too. She is scared of such things as the things she has never experienced before.

She is clever, but clumsy. She can run fast and walk as silent as a cat, but has got this habit of tripping over things. She is a great climber, but there is always a chance that she steps on the wrong branch and falls down. In that case, she is an easy victim in The Games. Especially when she is in panic.

Honey can be sceptical to anything. Food, animals, even herself. But she can trust people. She can be loving and caring, and she likes to help. She has a good side, and a hell of an evil side. Knowing her is a big game of trying not to get her to show her bad side.

About fifteen years ago, a tiny, healthy girl was born into this world. She grew up to become a rather happy girl, always running around, always up to something. There was never a day without her doing something mischievous and playful. But you see, that all ended this one day of her life. The day she remembers as a nightmare.

At an age of four years old, she had a little brother to be hers. She was so happy when he was born, and talked about him for weeks. But barely two weeks after she had turned seven, she found out that her little baby brother - then only three years old - had been killed by a tree while sneaking out to the woods where lodgers were chopping trees. Poor Honey didn't smile or laugh for years, and she shut up for several months after his death. This is also one of the reasons why she is brave, and one of the reasons why she is neurotic about unfamiliar things.

Honey was a little bit different from the other children of her district. She never climbed a single tree until the day she turned ten. It has been her greatest joy ever since. She likes the view, and would also describe it as "a good way to exercise". She often just climbs up there, and sits there, thinking, until noon.
