You’ve never really cared so much for first impressions – after all, half the district already knows you as the bouncy, energetic girl who loves plants. Your parents don’t know what to do with you half the time, for you’re so incredibly optimistic and bright and bubbly (you have been ever since you were young) that you don’t even seem to notice your family’s deep financial problems. You have this tendency to just smile at everyone, those big blue eyes shining from underneath roughly cut blond bangs. To you every joke is hilarious and life couldn’t be better.You’re this endless spill of happiness, a positive attitude that just goes on. The only sign that you even realize your own poverty is the fact that you wake up at dawn every morning to go work in the woods, cutting down countless giants in order to earn the money you need to survive. You have ever since you were old enough. People wouldn't really think you’d be all that strong – you’re rather short and your thin limbs aren't the most muscular – but you do enough to keep your family at least out of debt. You have this special fascination with the plants you find in the woods of District Seven while you’re working that often distracts you, but others are more than happy to cover you, hoping you’ll grow to be a sorely needed healer in the district. You've spent a good many nights pouring over books at night about herbs that can heal and feed, and already you've put this knowledge to good use. You’re entirely superstitious, though, claiming that certain plants only work best when picked under the full moon and many ghosts haunt the forests, but people often dismiss it as your wild imagination.
