Age: 17
Gender: Male
District/Area: District 7
Appearance:
Kohano (Co-hah-no) stands a decent six feet from the ground. He weighs right around 230 pounds but he is far from fat or overweight. His body has the appearance of a body builder, muscle, all muscle. His arms bulge in every direction, along with his legs, thighs, and midsection. He seems startling at first glance, like a giant of sorts. When he isn't in school he works hour after hour with his father in the lumber industry. He is naturally the size and strength that he is, not from intent, but because he works and work hard he does. He has even surpassed his father, who is one of the stronger men in their line of work, in brute strength. He has been know to lift and throw large logs of raw lumber as if it was nothing. But he is also not to be confused for slow. His reflexes are fast and he carries his big body well as far as sprinting. But he lacks in stamina, long distance running would not be ideal for him.Personality:
Kohano's hair is jet black, mid length for a male and usually messy. He has eyes that are so light blue that they seem gray. He wears his black working pants and a black t-shirt (jacket depending on time of the year) as is and has been custom for the male working side of his family for years. He carries a medium sized daggers sheathed in his right work boot. This piece of valuable razor sharp metal has been passed down in his family for generations as a last resort option, and he wouldn't think twice about using it. He is a tanned white color, the color coming only from working outside for most of his life.
Kohano is a mild mannered person, mostly keeping to himself unless he is speaking to co-workers or his few close friends. He thinks a lot to himself no matter what he is doing, be it at school or at work. His thoughts can tend to overwhelm him as well, if he thinks to deeply into a bad situation it can stress and worry him and cloud up his thought process.History:
He is a very respectful person. To him, elders deserve to be on top and to be in charge. If he is told to do something in school or at work he has no second thoughts. At a first look someone would presume he is a big, built, idiot; but on the contrary he excels in school and is very clever, no genius by any means, more common sense and thinking on your feet style compared to book smarts. He chooses not to show off his brains to anyone who would listen because he wants to be underestimated in everything he does. He lives to surprise.
Kohano is a happy person, he loves another being's company as much as the next person, but he is usually to caught up in work to socialize as much as he would like.
He knows of his strength, he has been called the strongest of the strong in District 7 and other similar comments. He chooses to ignore the comments, because to him, arrogance is the short coming of anyone who embraces it. He has a temper deep down, it can effect him in many ways depending on the situation. Usually it makes him think irrationally and charge into a situation without using his head. It can also feed the fire of his fierce strength, such as at work, and cause him to do great things that were unheard of previously.
As a child he never thought of things such as poor, rich, or starving. The thoughts of social status and how you were seen in the world just didn't occur to him. He was raised in a semi-wealthy family, with his father having one of the better job seats at the lumber factory/distribution area. He rarely went without a meal and rarely was dirty or unclean because lumber was almost always a need.Codeword: odair
He lives with his father, a hard working man who only sees him at home when work is over and they are usually headed to bed. Any other time after he turned 12 he only knew his father as "Boss Man".
His mother passed away from unknown causes when he was 4 years old. He never knew her very well, but he still feels to this day that he is missing a piece of himself on the inside. After his mothers untimely death his grandparents raised him, he only went home late at night when his father returned from work; that is, until he was old enough to go to school and to work.
By the time he was 15 he began to get noticeably stronger and stronger from hours of hard work. After being worked to his breaking point one blazing hot summer day, one of his co-workers made him snap. The man was telling him to stay and do the work that was assigned to him as well as Kohano's own work. Kohano refused because he was already up to his neck with work to do. The man, who was presumably in his early twenties, struck him across him face. The anger within Kohano was released as he picked up a near by log weighing more than a full grown man; he threw it at this man who had struck him. The log made a direct hit, crushing many of the man's ribs and shattering one of his arms. After Kohano explained the situation he was let go without disciplinary action taken, and was then titled with the nickname "Brute".
