Ravena Kavieria's stomach had been growling at her for the better part of three hours, but she had nothing to stop it from making it's hungered noises. It was the same thing every single day- she would wake up from wherever it was that she had claimed refuge for the night, and within five minutes she would realize how hungry she was. It hadn't always been so bad, at least once she had had her family to help her. Even if the food had been meager back then, it was better then the present where she had absolutely nothing to eat. Staring down at her stomach she willed it to stop growling at her but of course it kept on diligently whining at her for food. By that time it was late morning and most people were up and working, though a few were still wandering the streets around her. Ravena was sitting on a bench and silently wondering how she could possibly get something to eat without having to find any leftovers from garbage bins.
Pathetically she looked around and then set her head in her hands and thought to herself for a moment, wondering what to do to get food. There was always the option of stealing it from some place, but she was too tired and too hungry to worry about being caught and beaten. Surely, if she were caught she would gain just another scar on her body, another imperfection among the many that had already found their way onto her face, arms, legs, and back. She was not in the mood for pain, she wanted something to eat. She picked her head up for a moment and looked around at the passersby, falsely hoping that one would stop and offer her something. Nonetheless, people averted their eyes away from her. She was a pathetic, filthy, girl who had been kicked out of her house, and everyone knew it. No one ever bothered to help her, and no one ever would. This thought brought tears to her eyes for a moment and stung them painfully as she brought her dirty hand up to her face to wipe her eyes, only dirtying her face up even more. She didn't care how she looked, but she did care about other people seeing her cry.
Turning sideways on the bench, she wiped the tears from her eyes once more and pulled her knees up close to her head and hid her face from the passersby. She willed herself to stop crying, and she did, finally turning her face up to watch the people walking by. No one pays attention. No one to help me. It had always been that way. No matter how much she had done for her siblings or begged for her parents' attention and love, she had always had to fend for herself. It had been an early lesson that not everyone (and barely anyone) was a friend. Peering at the people walking by, she hoped as hard as she could that for once, someone would be a friend and help her out. Weakly looking at those around her she wore a begging expression on her face, a look so unlike her normal stare that it scared her to think how it appeared on her filthy face.
Food...
OOC: Meh it's a crappy post because this is my first thread with her. Oh, and Sky said he wanted to join this thread, so I said it was okay.
