Not a Good Day for Hunting(D & Open I suppose)

It definitely wasn't a good day for hunting. Not at all. Alex had been out in the trees for a good three hours, and she still hadn't found anything that even hinted at signs of animal life. Of course, there was signs of hunters all over. Alex sighed and lowered her bow some, mumbling to herself, "Well I guess that's what I get for waking up late." She rubbed her temple a moment in an effort to get rid of the throbbing headache she had, but there was not such luck. She then pulled back some on the string of her bow, keeping it pointed at the ground as she stalked forward, watching carefully for any signs of prey she could hunt.

A few minutes later, when she was farther into the trees, she heard something off to her right. She froze and lifted her bow instantly, pulling the string back, waiting for a definite target to make itself known so she could shoot it. Of course, she hesitated when she took a step forward and saw a shape through the branches of what looked like a person. She kept her bow raised and ready, but called softly so as not to scare any game that might be nearby, "Who's there?" She waited for a response, her hazel eyes watching the shape carefully- she wasn't one to be caught off guard, and this time was no different.
