You Can't Break Away Without the Chains[D-wayne]

Antwan Sinagogah...

"AHHHH," screamed a female voice that was very high pitch.

"Help us," screamed another voice, but was more masculane.

"Brother, help me. I can't breath!" screamed a little girls voice. Suddenly, he remembered whose voices these were. It was his family, he had to help them. Antwan struggled to get into their house that was on fire. He tried and tried, but no matter what, he couldn't get through the flames. Then, the fire fighters came and put out the fire. But it was too late, and his family had suffocated and their bodies had burned, they had told him.

"Mom, dad, Danielle!" He heard himself yell. Then, he snapped awake. Luckily he had not fallen out of the tree he was sleeping in. Then, he heard a twig break from underneath him. He took out a dagger and peered down over the branch. He was shocked to see a girl bandaging her hand. He thought about what he should do, drop down, or stay there. He decided to watch.

I sit there and stare at the girl for a moment. She has a cloth on her hand, and it looks like there is a lot of blood on it. I wonder what has happened to her. I put my dagger back in my bag, because she seems of no harm to me.

"Are you alright?" I ask. Trying not to be mean, since she seems bigger and older than I.

We sit there in what seems to be a trance and stare at eachother for a few moments.

"What happened to your hand?" I ask. Since she won't talk, I guess I will.

"Oh, oksy," I say. "Not very talkative, now are you?" I ask. This girl must be very over protective, becuase she won't talk at all. Why is she like this? Is there trouble going around in the forests?

"I'm Antwan, who are you?" I ask. It might no tbe a good idea to be exchanging information, but who cares. I look at her expecting an answer.

"Umm.." I say. "Just trying to get some sleep. What are you doing here?" I ask.

"Oh," I say. "Why in the middle of the night?" I ask. "It's late, even for being out in the forest." I really wonder what had happened to her and why she is out so late. It is very strange to be out here.
