Lireal Kirtola-

Lireal looked up at the big and blue house. It was the same one Apollo had shown her. She took a big gulp and looked back towards Anna's house. "Maybe leaving Gabriel there with Anna was a bad idea.." Soon enough she had build up enough courage to open up the gate and walk up to the front door. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She gently knocked on the door and waited for a few moments for Apollo.

A P O L L O

You know what? I've always wondered how it was to live homeless. In some senses, it might be fun. You know? Getting to move from one place to another when ever you wanted? You wouldn't ever have to worry about living in one spot for your whole life. You wouldn't have to ever pay bills, or better yet, you wouldn't even have to worry about maintaining a good lawn. But no, being homeless? Well, it's considered a bad thing. Not sure why, but it is. I personally wouldn't even mind being homeless. Weird, right? Well, actually, I hoped to be, and soon.

As the last item entered my bag, the duffle bag that would be carried with me through all of my travels ahead, I knew I was ready for whatever was to come. Whether it be murderious encounters, attempts of kidnap, or any of the various things that could happen, I knew I was ready to face them head on.

Not many things filled my bag. My lucky, yellow shirt. With its tattered spots, faded colors, and many stains. With it was many different articles of clothing, including bracelets, necklaces, and even, a toe ring. Though these weren't really to be worn, more likely to be traded, in the event that it was essential, of course. Despite the clothes, a few weapons were also filled inside. A dagger, complete with a sheath, which I had managed to swipe from my father, a razor thrower, a weapon that I had invented that flung razors at enemies that took the form of a small gun, and a few miniature spears. These weren't to be thrown, but rather, to be stabbed into someone. I hoped none of these would be used, but, if the time came...

The strap positioned around my back. Very much like that of a Baldric. I patted the side of the bag, because it seemed if I needed to, and slowly, quietly, and cautiously, opened my window. I had everything planned out. Step by step. District 6 was known for science right? It wouldn't be any problem. Or, soI thought. You see, just as I had stuck my first leg out of the window, a knock at the door caused chills to run up my spine.

I'm caught, great. I whipped my head around, but in the meantime, causing my momentum to carry me forward, sending me plummeting to the ground. Butterflies had heart attacks inside of my stomach, my brain was putting out solutions as to how to land the safest way, none of which would result in not being hurt, but somehow, as I landed with a large thud on my stomach, the only thing that happened was the loss of air supply. You know, the feeling you get when you get hit in the stomach really hard? Well yeah, like that, only 3 times more severe, along with about 5 times more sustained.

Gasping for air, it finally filled my lungs back up. The sky was so beautiful today. Just the type of time to run away. I suddenly found myself standing up, moving towards the front of my house. My stomach still hurt, my chest still hurt, but for once, I was taking the pain.

It was then, when I had reached the front of my residence, that I saw what caused me to fall. As she pounded on the door once more, I took off running towards her, grabbing her hand and attempting to pull her with me. It was Lireal, one of my only friends in District 6. She had came to see me, or so it seemed.

"C'mon, please Lireal! Fast!" This wasn't supposed to happen. I was supposed to run away alone, but now, I had to drag her into this. I hoped she wouldn't follow and would only go home, but what happened would be what happened.

Because I was going to be homeless after all.

I stood there for a few moments..Just knocking on the door..The sun was shining, a gently breeze, and hardly any clouds in there light blue sky. A perfect day to go outside and play. I realized that I was wearing tan Capri and a dark aqua shirt that matched my aqua colored eyes. It was all going alright, that is until I heard a window open and the shingles of a house move. I took a gulp and stopped my knocking on the door for a moment. My heart speeding up, increasing the flow of my blood. I couldn't help but listen closer to the leaves on the plants around me rustle around in the wind.

I paused right when I heard a thud like someone or something had fallen from a roof of the house. It sounded so close and yet so far. I couldn't control myself, the past butterflies in my stomach caused by embarrassment, fluttered around panicking to get out. My eyes grew, I could slowly feel my body react to the noises. My mind running through any and every scenario that could of happened. Finally I paused and realization hit me, "What if....What if he got hurt....What if it was worse than that..What if he died." My heart stopped pounding and for a moment I felt the sting in my eyes. I knew what was coming. I felt the first hot tear roll down my cheek. My breathing had increased causing my head to get light headed. Then his voice entered my head... "I'll kill him...He made you cry" I couldn't help but murmur, " No..." My body slowly came back into motion, my heart speeding right back up, my throat was sore, my mind was trying to figure out what happened. My body was quivering, a few stray tears rolling down my face. I started knocking on the door again, to warn somebody just in case. "Just in case...what? Just in case if he was dead?" Everything seemed so different....Almost as if something was wrong. I blinked a few times, letting any other stray tears out.

I continued knocking on the door. I had mostly calmed my nervous body down. Although my eyes were darting all around me, everything and anything startled me. It seemed like I could even hear better. One thing I didn't like about being this cautious was being able to hear my heartbeat, and having my heart half-way up my throat. Then there is the sweet little nervous butterflies that transformed into a nervous panic attack which caused my stomach to transform into a big knot. With the wind rustling the leaves on a tree, it seemed odd. I didn't want to be out here any longer. Alone at least..It took my mind a moment to register what I heard. It sounded so familiar, and yet so different. Finally I knew what it was, footsteps in the glass.... I knocked a few more times on the door, and then. And then I felt his hand..

I quickly turned towards him, it was Apollo. He was still alive, but he was attempting to pull me with him.. I smiled a little, happy to know that the thud I heard wasn't him falling from the roof. Then I paused, what if he did fall from the roof.....My stomach churned at the thought of that happening to him. After all I just came here to visit him...I let him pull me along for the most part. Observing him, he was wearing a duffel bag. His shirt was slightly dirty. My heart sped up with me. Then I realized he said something to me, "C'mon, please Lireal! Faster!" Soon after wards I sped up, enough to get us side by side. My mind was running at full blast, I thought about what Gabriel would think..He would freak, and then I would leave Anna to deal with him. Alone too, she wouldn't be able to help him very much. I turned back to Apollo, the god of the sun with his sister Artemis the goddess of the moon and hunt, he didn't really seem too god like. He seemed more of Lucifer than anybody else that I knew. The very same Lucifer that I left...

After a few moments running side by side. I finally couldn't take it anymore, I was out of breath. We were a good distance away from Apollo's house, and partially into the woods. My head pounded with my heartbeat, my breathing somewhat shallow, I coughed several times. A few times I about puked. I closed my eyes and held my head still as I layed on the ground. I just had so many questions for Apollo, but my body was too tired to even say one word. When I opened up my eyes, I did so slowly. I looked up at Apollo. I couldn't help but smirk at him, just an hour ago I had thought he was dead. When I finally caught my breath, I made eye contact with him. "What where you doing back there?" I wanted to smack him on the side of his head for making me run just out of no where. Then I realized he had his duffel bag to carry around. Slowly my head stared down towards the ground, and I gently sighed.
