It's been two days since I saw Kresh, since the day we met, and even now he swims through my dreams... when I first met him, because someone stole our fish... when he took me to his secret hideaway from the rest of the world... when he was racing through the water with me...
A sharp knock at the door awakes me from my dreams. I cheack my clock, and see it's one in the morning.
Who would come to my house this late?
Whoever it is, they can wait until morning.
I bury my face in my pillow and try to fall asleep again.
But the knock sounds once again on my door.
I want to ignore them, but it's impossible. Who were they, anyway.
Then a thought hits me.
Kresh.
Maybe something's wrong. Maybe he's in trouble. Maybe he needs my help.
I'm out of my bed in in a robe in seconds.
Another knocks. Finally, I reach the door. I try to open the door, but it's locked.
Funny, I don't remember locking it.
I begin to fumble with the lock when a white sheet of paper slips under the door.
I stop and pick it up.
It's wet, washing off part of it, but I try to piece it together.
'I know who stole you fish. Head West for the answers you're looking for.'
I'm shocked. The note drops from my hands, and suddenly I'm prying open the door.
But no one's there.
I'm terrified. Maybe I should find Kresh. After all, he got his fish stolen, too.
But then again, if they wanted him to come, they would have left a note at his house, right?
They could be dangerous, though, and that's why they didn't want him to come.
Finally, I make a desision. I don't want Kresh to head into danger. I go back into my house, get dressed, and write a note, just in case anyone comes. It says 'Went fishing in West.' If Thresh saw it, he'd know there are no lakes in the West, and maybe know what I meant.
I grab my coat, and fill my bag with lot's of water and food. Who know's what I'll run into?
Finally, I see a knife. I carefully grab it and pack it, then head out into the dark, not even daring to hope that Kresh would find the note and come find me.

OOC: I know I'm late, but I had homework that I had to do.
