I hate the town. Too many people trying to make conversation. Don't they understand that I just want to be left alone? All of this for a loaf of stale bread. Stupid people. I walked into the bakery and pulled out my money. A guy with blonde hair walked over to me.
"Why don't you let me pay for that, gorgeous?" Flirty guys. They were my biggest pet peeve.
"I'm capable of paying for myself."
"That doesn't mean you have to." A green eye disappeared as he winked. Ugh. Annoying much?
"Goodbye," I said coldly.

Michael stood in the bakery, holding a bagel in his mouth and a bag of donuts for his girlfriend (a cream filled Boston) and her "friends" (assorted others) in one hand and counting his change with the other.

Of course, her "friends" were actually a large amount of crazies, criminals and con men. But lets not get into that.

As he managed to stuff the small bills and change into his pocket, he backed up towards the door and ended up ramming into someone small, dropping the bag of donuts.

"Oh, sorry!" He stammered around his bagel, stooping to pick up the bag and turning to his victim. "Sorr- oh..." The girl was very pretty, and it cut him off. "Sorry about that."

Another one. Did this really always have to happen?
"That's fine. I don't mind. I'm used to being bumped into and tripped over." He was staring at me like... a guy that just thought I was pretty. He wasn't flirting. He probably had a girlfriend, what with all of the doughnuts he had, and with him not being a particularly large individual.
