Crystal Rivera- District 1

Crystal is an attractive girl. She is tall for her age, at 5'6. However, she is also very slender, at only 100 pounds. Combined with her height, she's practically a model. Her long, waist length hair contributes to that image. It looks like gentle waves rippling when she walks. Her hair is straight and black, but is generally lightly curled to make it wavy and look like waves. Crystal's eyes are a deep blue, a crystal blue. It's why she has her name. Pale skin contrasts her eyes, making cold, yet piercing blue eyes stand out.
Although she may seem fragile and delicate, which is only added to because of her name, she isn't. As a Career, she has trained in multiple tasks. Long legs make her a swift runner and her light build assists it. She's good at climbing trees too because of her lightness and long legs. She has a scar on her arm from when she and a friend were practicing archery and dodging skills. Her friend shot an arrow at her, and she wasn't quick enough to dodge. The arrow grazed her arm. Still, she learned how to dodge well.
Crystal likes to wear flowing gowns on formal occasions. Usually, they're blue to remind her of the waves, but sometimes they're a fiery red and look like flames. On casual occasions, she wears silky flame- colored pants that are like skinny jeans, but more comfortable, or tights that emphasize how skinny and long her legs are. She wears a simple silky shirt.

Crystal may seem delicate and fragile. She may also act that way, but she isn't. She's intelligent, cold, and sensible. She has few friends, and even those are for her purposes. She's very cunning and sly. She can make you do something without ever letting on that she caused it. She can make it seem like she's the perfect little girl, never requesting anything, when she controls everything everyone in her circle does.
To everyone who knows her, she's the perfect girl that they long to be. She trains to be a Career and actually does pretty well with it, despite her lightness and lack of strength. Yet she keeps up with her classwork, getting good scores on her tests and assignments. She's pretty and seems kind enough to have a lot of boys crushing on her, though she's never had a boyfriend, kissed anyone, or gone on a date. She's popular, with a lot of girls who want to be her friends.
Inside, she's almost none of those. She's picked out the most influential kids to be her friends, because those are the kids who might actually help her in her goal to be on the top of the ladder in the end. Although the most intelligent and suspicious sometimes suspect her to be manipulative, they usually dismiss their concerns. She works hard for her grades, and maintains good grades because it will help her achieve her goal. She trains to be a Career to fit into the picture of the perfect role model, and she acts humble so no one will suspect anything.
Her family is wrapped around her finger. They hardly know it, but she runs the house. She has two older siblings: a 16 year old sister, Lilith, and a 19 year old brother, Kyle. Since she's fairly intelligent, she is able to learn from Lilith about some things and help her with others. Her family sees her as kind and helping, but sometimes she is able to subtly manipulate them into doing what she wants with seemingly helpful pointers that direct them to doing what she wants them to do.
However, this means that she has to work hard to maintain her fairly good grades and manipulation. She has often slipped up, but she is generally able to cover it up. The one thing she always maintains is her good grades, though she has to work hard for that. She has to remember what points of view she has taken with people because she isn't showing the real her.

Crystal was born to two fairly wealthy parents. It didn't mean she didn't have to study or learn how to do things- quite the opposite. She had to learn how to do chores like regular kids. She also had to go to school, though she had special tutors so that she could study more if she wanted to, which she did. She excelled in regular classes and expanded on subjects she was interested in through her tutors, which meant that the subjects she studied changed a lot, allowing her a well-rounded education in which she soaked up information like a sponge. Her parents are very demanding. She may manipulate them, but she has to be careful about it, which means that she has to follow their rules. Their rules include being near the top of her class, being able to take care of herself, and training to be a Career. She, therefore, knows multiple skills, such as how to run quickly, climb trees, use a bow and arrows, and be stealthy. She rose to the challenge her parents gave her, deciding it would help her in the end. After all, being intelligent and having the skills of a Career wouldn't do anything bad to her ambitions.
Crystal was 2 when she was able to read, do math, and write. When she first told her parents she was reading, they were amazed but skeptical. She soon realized that it wasn't normal for kids to be able to do math, read, write, speak, and understand others at 2, and began to see how she could use her intelligence. She was able to develop her sneakiness, because no one thought that a 2, almost 3 year old would be at all devious. She got tutors at 4 years old. 4 was also the year that she had to learn more to being devious than slight suggestions, because as she grew older, the others were more suspicious. When she started school at 5, she was far ahead of the other kids and was permitted to skip a grade as a result. Luckily for Lilith, they weren't in the same class, since Lilith would have been terribly embarrassed by a sister the same age as her in her class. Crystal continued to study, skipping another grade at age 9. She improved her cunningness and was able to nudge others in the direction she wanted after a few minutes of figuring out their personality. At age 13 she began to go through puberty. She knew what would happen from reading slightly... adult books and didn't want it to affect her rationality. She promised herself that she would always think before she did anything, and it helped. She did develop a small crush on a boy a year older than her, but she was able not to let anyone know. She acted normally around everyone, but increased certain factors that made her more attractive.
