Appearance:
Cobalt is a tall (6', 2'' to be exact), strong fifteen-year-old. His muscles are large and bulging due to his rigorous workouts, stealing the hearts of many girls. He has short brown hair that can be extremely annoying to take care of. He is also missing one of his front teeth after an accident took it out.Personality:
Despite his good looks, Cobalt is almost always frowning. His slightly tan skin is a result of his constant visits to his sister's grave and workout routines. Something that only his close friends and family know about him is that he was born with six toes on his left foot.
After an accident (that wasn't so accidental) concerning sharp pieces of metal, Cobalt has a large, noticeable scar on his left cheek and another one on his chin. His shining, light blue eyes once seemed to gaze into one's soul and seek truth; now they stare blankly as if whatever they are looking at is an inanimate object. As of recently, he has moderate acne all over his face that makes him look considerably worse.
Cobalt is never happy. His twin sister died when he was ten, and he has never been the same since that day. Attempts to connect with him are usually greeted with a stony silence. Cobalt can also be seen staring off into space regularly, thinking of the past.History:
Due to this, Cobalt has few friends and only really connects with his mother and father. Although many girls have fallen in love with him, he has never done the same. His depression even led him to try to commit suicide-twice.
At the age of twelve, still torn over his sister's death, he had wanted to volunteer for the Hunger Games. Luckily, his mother persuaded him not to. Unlike many in his district, he enjoys watching the battles of the Hunger Games, although he hates it when helpless young children die. Watching District Three tributes kill other children fills up his endless pot of anger in his heart. However, occasionally he sees his sister in the young, innocent tributes, and when the tribute in the Hunger Games that he likes dies, his heart locks up and refuses to open again.
Finally, Cobalt believes in a rigorous training routine. His motto is that keeping the body fit will make you enjoy life more. The routine consists of a run around the perimeter of District Three, and weightlifting, as well as many other steps. Exercising is the thing that can temporarily lift the burden of his sister's death from him.
Cobalt was born on the year of the 46th Hunger Games. He was a healthy baby with a twin sister, although he had six toes instead of five. His family was rich and worked little, dabbling in electronic devices such as computes and phones. He almost never went hungry, and he and Lily, his twin sister, had an extremely happy childhood.Codeword: oDair
Lily and Cobalt's family came upon hard times in the year of the 51st Hunger Games, and the five-year-old twins were forced to begin working and go to school at the same time. Luckily, their work mainly consisted of hooking wires to sockets and working wires along electrical cords. During this time, the twins were extremely close.
The next year, things were better for the family and they began living more luxuriously. Their beds became more deluxe, their meals became better, and although they worked more, they were paid more as well. It was then that Cobalt first realized the horror of the Hunger Games; before, he and Lily had played games concerning them, along the lines of "I'm from District Three and you're the bad guy from District Five!"
The rest of Cobalt's youth went along the same way, until a fateful day during the year of the 56th Hunger Games. Around his birthday, Lily was electrocuted while she worked. Three days later, however, she was declared fit for work and went back to working mainly unscathed. As luck would have it, she was electrocuted again a few days later-and killed.
Cobalt was struck by a wave of depression and closed up to the world. Despite his parents' attempts to reassure him, Cobalt refused to get up until her funeral. He missed school. The moment she died replayed itself in his head over and over. He refused to accept that Lily, his companion, his twin, was dead. But he had to. And his life was changed. Forever.
A few years later, his family fell on hard times once again and he made two suicide attempts-one by nearly volunteering for the fifty-eighth Hunger Games, and the other with a blade and an electric contraption he had made himself. During the second attempt, he scarred himself for life and was unconscious for two straight days.
Cobalt's last four years were nothing very important. He was changed. He began watching the Hunger Games with a newly found glee, and began his quest to keep fit. The strain of exercising helped him forget the pain Lily's death had caused him once.
And that is how he is in the current day- a fit, nearly perfect superstar on the outside, an emotional whirlpool on the inside. So far, he has evaded being in the Hunger Games for four years, but he has four years left...

((OOC: I hope that I didn't make this guy overpowered, a Mary Sue, or doing work that other districts would do. I am godawful at appearance and hope everything else was OK.))
