Ah, let's see here. Section R. Here it is. Lane Fox Ralyks. Top Secret. Pfft, top secret my ass. What do they have on me if it can fill this folder?
Appearance:
To some, Lane may be attractive. To most, he is not. Well thanks. Means alot. Really, he is often too rugged looking to have any of his attractive qualities noticed. That's what happens when you live in the damn wild. He looks like he belongs in the wild, among the animals and nature. If there was any type of look that made you seem rough, Lane has it. If you could look like you've been through alot of pain and suffering, yet are still pushing forward in life, you would bear resemblance to Lane. And you know this how?
His eyes present a basic appearance. Somewhat deep-set, and circled by a bruised eye socket because of the lack of sleep, they don't seem to tell much with a brief glance. However, they have witnessed the pain and suffering that Lane has gone through. They seem to hold the stories he's been apart of, and they keep them held back. One long look into his eyes tends to give you the knowledge of all the tragedy. His eyes have become his mouth, his voice, telling the stories that nobody wants to hear, but has to. His eyes are blue in color, and seem to reflect the water and the sky. His pupils aren't very large, and his opaque is small too. His eyes are somewhat closed, and it appears he is always squinting, however, you can always see the eyes, always watching. Interesting.
His hair is short, and almost always messy. Living in the wild is more important than making sure that your hair is nice anyways. However, it naturally spikes up at the front, and tends to look good. His hair is thick and rough looking, but some what soft to the touch. However, it is greasy, because he never has time to worry about looks. He often wears a Capitol issued Peacekeeper cap which he stole from one of during his stay in the Capitol. Crime Report #7142459. Shit. I was hoping to not get caught.
The rest of his face is nothing special really. Once again, thanks. His face is rough, and scarred from all it's contact with all the stuff he faces in the wild. His skin is dark and tanned, something that would be expected of somebody who is always in the sun. His nose is thin and sticks out alot, finally ending at a rounded end. His nostrils are small too, and can only be seen if you are under him.
Dark brown stubble covers Lane's jaw, matching with his hair color. The stubble covers the bottom of his jaw, and where a beard and mustache would form. His eyebrows are the same in color, but they are thick and bushy, unlike the facial hair. They curve up wards, close the nose, and then go in a straight line, until the end where they curve back down. Similar to look of left square bracket, rotated 90° clockwise. Ha! Are you serious?
His lips are thin and long, and tend to be tightly pressed together, hiding any emotion. He is a master at hiding them. Crime Report #204 - Death of Jonson Kayne - Suspect, Lane Ralyks. Convicted Zach Kayne, son to victim. They never proved me guilty. I guess hiding the truth always helps. But they know I'm good at that. Shit. His teeth are white, and they go down to a point. Suggested that Peacekeepers from District 6 observe for any crimes involving cannibalism. Lane Ralyks suggested as top suspect. Shit. I wanted dessert too.
Ears on Subject Ralyks are small, and tucked back against his head. Reported by Peacekeeper Warren, District 2, that Lane's hearing is strong. Tests were done when he resided in the Capitol, and the fact was proved. His ears are trained, as any hunter's ears would be. Approach with caution on stealth ambush. Gotta keep that in mind.
Lane is 6'6'', and average weight. He is in very good shape and should never be chased. He will win. You have that right. His chest is flat, which is obviously common among men. His stomach is flat, and strong with muscles. The muscles are prominent against his skin. Lane's shoulders are broad, and thick with muscles, adding to the overall look of his build. Don't underestimate Ralyks. He may not look extremely strong, but he's very athletic, and experienced enough to make up for size.
His arms are also thick with muscle, and tanned darkly. On his left bicep, he has a dark black tattoo with the words Aut occide aut occidere which is Latin for "Kill or Be Killed". Right hand of Lane was severed during an accident in District 9, replaced by artificial metal arm. It proves to be no difficulty for him them, and he has worked around the issues. His left hand is rough, and blistered from so much contact to weapons, weather conditions, and the environment.
Lane's back is almost as good of a record for his criminal offences as Capitol files. Covering his back are long scars, resulting from the many whippings, torture sessions, and punishment that he has received. It changed his strong looking back into something that at first glance would make you feel bad for him. The skin is red, and rough, despite the fact that most of the scars are almost as old as him. Hurts like a bitch. You forgot to include that in. Other scars cover Lane's body, often signs of struggle from all his victims.
Lane's legs are long and strong. They are legs of a runner, thin, but muscular. The hair on his legs is the same color of his air, but not extremely thick, due to constant contact with the wind. The hair is similar on his chest and arms too. As for Lane's feet, they are muscular too, something expected of somebody who is always standing or walking. They are average size for his height, however, the arch is higher. Wow. They must've examine every inch of me in the Capitol. I'm afraid to read on.
The clothes Lane wears are average clothes. He wears a scarf alot, in hopes to cover his face. Nothing makes him stand out though. One thing that makes him different, if it's seen, is the dog tags that hang at his neck. Reports (#345026 and #481) state that he stole it from his father, a Peacekeeper in District 9, after killing him. He uses them at borders to gain access into the many Districts. Keep in mind, as you accept people's wishes to pass. Damn. Gotta find another way. Thanks for all the help dad.
"Lane's voice is deep, and mesmerizing. It pulls you in, and makes you want to believe him, and trust him," says an anonymous source from District 6. He has a slight accent, which our ancestors consider to be of British or Australian roots.
Personality:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When asked of the type of person I am,
No answer can come forth,
For it is not I who can know that answer,
But you who must discover
Ralyks' thoughts are exquisitely beautiful. To understand the true meaning of these words, you would have to see the scene's he leaves after a crime. Artistic would be the easiest description. He paints a picture with the mess he leaves, whether it be one of love or of pain and disaster. Even the lead investigators in the Peacekeeper unit can't help but admire his passion and effort that is shown through each "story" he leaves. Most consider it insanity, and they are not far off, for insanity is all that welcomes the man's mind. But truly, it's an art. That's a new take on things. Glad to know somebody appreciates the work I put into things.
Perhaps Lane does grasp onto a small bit of reality in his mind, for he is definately understanding. He must know, deep down inside, what he does is wrong. He understands why we are following his every move. He understands how much of a threat he is to Panem. However, it seems like he thinks what he does for the people is a benefit. Ending their lives just ends their suffering. The thoughts of a madmen. Maybe there is nothing but insanity in his head.
Mental conditions aside, Lane would be a good citizen. He has obvious charisma, and he is often good with crowds. If he has the chance to talk to citizens in public, he would probably have no issues convincing them. However, he knows, and we know, that talking to the public would be a disadvantage for his own safety. He knows that as soon as he pops up on radar, we will be able to find him, and secure him.
Securing him is the problem though. Truly, Lane is a master of identities. Each District he enters, he is known by a different name, and each time his cover is compromised, his changes names, and runs away. He manages to stay under radar, and is almost never recognized. Officers are on the lookout for a man fitting his description as said earlier. Any reports must be secret. The only way he will be captured is by sneaking up on him, and trapping him. Took you long enough to figure that out.
He lives a life of seclusion, as said before. It would be smart to assume he isn't easily effected by emotions. After searching through the records, no connections have appeared towards women, or family since he was 12 years old. Report #5692 states one crime where he got in too close with another citizen. It proved to be fatal for said citizen. Officers are advised to avoid asking around about him, for this could threaten the safety of those citizens that know anything useful. Officers should be advised that if they step within a kilometer radius of me, I will take out everything in my path. How do I edit files here. Officers are advised that if they step within a kilometer radius of Lane, the lives of everybody around him are threatened. Lane is amazing in every way, and should just be left alone. And Head Officer Cassius Clayburn should not be trusted. That was fun. Okay. Let's move on.
Lane is some what known for his anger. We have gathered enough to know that if you set him off, your corpse will likely litter the streets of your District. However, it all depends on whether or not he chooses to let out his anger. We've also been able to gather that he hides all emotions behind a wall, briefly hinted at above. However, there are few things that will put him in such a homicidal, psychopathic mind set, that it would best to just stay clear. Somebody is finally learning something.
Lane is obviously rebellious. He's proved that with his constant defiance of the rules the Capitol has set into place. There's no telling what he would do if he had access to files and records about him or fellow criminals. You are so screwed now. Not only does he have the motivation, the strength, and the resources to attempt to rebel, he has the intelligence too. Lane is definately not stupid, and knows exactly what move is best for him, and what would be a disadvantage to the ones in pursuit of him. He proves in each crime he commits that he is very analytical, and takes devious precautions to make sure that he has done it the best way he can.
It may seem like Lane has no downfall, when really, each thing I've said has provided the true answer. Lane cannot do what he is told, rules or not. Everything must be done his way, or no way. If you plan on enforcing the rules too much, it wouldn't be surprising if your neck was slit the next day. Never underestimate what Lane can do, but also, never overestimate. After all, he is just a human being, and isn't some type of super hero. Well then I'm one fucked up human.
Medical records prove that several mentor disorders are present with Subject Ralyks. It is suspected that he has schizophrenia, as he seems delusional. However, nothing has been proved by medical teams, and further investigation is required. However, it is medically proven that he is "infected" with psychosis, an abnormal condition of the mind, involving a loss of contact with reality. He is also diagnosed with DD (Delusional Disorder) and has bipolar tendencies. It is proven that he partakes in cannibalism, as there have been many crime scenes where a mangled corpse is left. Many believe he has pyromania tendencies, but it has never truly been confirmed. And if you even fucking try to confirm it, I'll have your house burnt down in seconds. Medical teams are certain that there are even more disorders he has, but no further tests were done, due to him leaving. Since then, he has proved to also have kleptomania tendencies. In short, he truly is a psychopath.
All the things mentioned above have forced such a promising citizen into being a threatening creature. There's no telling how many times he will kill, for nobody can predict how his disorders will effect him on certain days. However, he has proved that he can kill, and that he will kill. I have, what, 12 kills now, excluding those officers? And I enjoyed each and every one of them.
Torture is such a simple word, never truly meaning much until you hear the loud screams that come from it. Those loud screams may sound painful, and put you in an uncomfortable state. For Lane, it does the opposite, leading him into complete pleasure and enjoyment. There's no telling how far he would go to achieve said pleasure, as many scenes have proved.
As said earlier, Lane is charismatic, however, it appears that it's only when he tries to be. He is often cold and cruel, if the need to make friends is not needed. When his eyes fall upon pain, suffering, death, and more dark things, he would rather attempt to inflict more pain than to just continue on his way, or to help. However, we have seen signs of emotional pain in his crime scenes when they involve a whole family. It is suspected that he feels jealousy of the families that are still close to each other, and still care for their members. See Section #3; History, for detailed report of family relations.
It would be easiest to assume that Lane's view on life has been corrupted by all the dark things from his life. Despite his hold on reality and sanity being long gone, there are times when he proves to be calm and down to earth. However, despite that, his murders seem to contradict any reason for assuming he is a normal citizen with a bad past. Lane Fox Ralyks, Braeden Scott, Joshua Harlan, Kile Jenkins, and any name he is often known by, is the farthest thing from a normal citizen. He is a monster. Yeah, fuck you too Clayburn.
History:
Lane was born into a family of 2. His mother, Delilah McFarlen, was of lower class, living in the poorest part of District 4. She grew up living a horrible life, falling asleep on days when she had nothing in her stomach. She'd wake up in the morning, dry heaving fluids her stomach made to decompose food, that wasn't there. When she turning 6, her parents did the unthinkable. After her first day of school, she ran down the path to her house, excited that it was her birthday. She burst through the doors, only to find a gruesome sight. Record #4762-A states that Mr. and Mrs. McFarlen were hanging from the rafters by a short rope. So she was brought to the orphanage until her life turned right side up when she was 19.
Dryve Ralyks grew up in the higher class part of the District. In fact, his cousin was the mayor's son. He was perfect, really. Golden messy hair, bright blue eyes, clean skin, dark tan, rippling muscles. And he had the money, which was the main feature girls wanted in his social class. So, it was expected that he would marry rich, and carry on the riches that is in their blood.
So nobody expected the connection between Delilah and Dryve. Aww. Is this shit about to get sappy? Destined to be together, or so it seemed, the two decided to live together. However, when two teens are put together, it's bound to happen sometime. That fateful night created something that seemed so good at the time, and now is a monster. Oh! I fucking love guessing games. Is it...me!?
It was the year of the 20th Games that Lane entered this world. I have first hand experience of his childhood. He had moved to my part of District 2 when he turned one. Our parents had always been friends, and so, we were then destined to become friends to.
However, nothing really happened until he turned 16, when I was 29. I was already a Peacekeeper, patrolling District 9 everyday. He had always like to follow my footsteps, and follow them he did. He signed up for patrol around District 9. It was then that we became partners. Partners, and best friends. Until I was sent to the Capitol. He stayed in District 9 until the age of 20. That's when he got a promotion to District 4, the District where I was the Head Peacekeeper.
I remember the day perfectly, and have it written down in many records, official and non-official. The day was cold, and filled with sorrow. It was the day of the Reaping. I remember seeing Lane storm into the building, his gun already out of its holster. I yelled out for him. We were to be guards for the previous Victors of District 4. I guided him into my large office, where he began to pace. It confused me, his behavior, for he usually wasn't this deep in thought. He looked up into my eyes, and quietly whispered, "they are dead Cassius. My parents are strung up on the rafters by ropes." So much pain was in his voice, that I didn't know what to do. I let him sit, and we searched through files, trying to find why they did it. One letter gave us the answer.
It was from the Capitol, telling his parents that their other son, who had mental disabilities, was to be sent to the Capitol to be tested on. Lane was outraged, cursing that the Capitol did that to him. They killed his parents. He stormed out of the room, and left me in silence. Then, gunshots filled that silence. I hopped up from my seat, and ran out into the lobby, only to be in the middle of a body field. Dead officers filled the room. All except one. Lane stood in the middle, his gun hanging low, smoke pouring out of it.
"They killed my parents Cassius. I'm all alone now. All alone." to which I answered simply "You have me." He ran from that building that day, leaving me with no friend, and no Division A officers.
I was asked to give a testimony on the occurrences of the day, but I couldn't testify against my friend. So the case never was solved. Nobody ever knew how 13 officers died in the police lobby. All except for me, and the killer. It took two years for that killer to arrive into my databases. Lane had been active, still with the law, but in the other way. At first, I was appalled. How could such an amazing cop crack like that? It was in the Capitol too, his activity, which lead me to believe that he wanted revenge. So, I did what any friend would do. I took his case, to prevent him from harm.
He escaped from the Capitol soon after I took the case under my department, and went silent for another year. However, Lane isn't the type of person to be silent. Activity sparked in District 6, showing signs of my good old friend. And they were indeed signs.
It's been around 10 years since the incident, and the whole time has been filled with a wild goose chase. Which was done for a reason. You really are still a good friend Cassius. Every once in a while, activity appears in random Districts, but we will never be able to capture Lane Ralyks. I can only wish he see's reality, and comes back to the only family he has.
