Appearance:
Lionel is a brunette male, who is shorter than most young men his age. He stands at 1.6 meters. His hair is usually cut low and his beard trimmed to near none existence. His features are soft and somewhat effeminate.Personality:
Lionel tends to focus on humanistic interests and approaches. He likes to help others and tend to place himself in the "big brother" role even when it's obvious he isn't. He operates best when following his feelings and sense of compassion and usually allows himself to be sensitive to the needs of others. Because of his disposition he tends to work well with others and has the potential to inspire.History:
Lionel is more focused on the business aspect of life and from a young urge has focused on building bonds with those he sees as profitable. Though this could be seen as somewhat manipulative he tends to rationalize most of his actions with the belief that he is doing it with others interest in mind. He tends to internalize most situations in order to detach himself from what's currently going on.
His mind is analytical and hid judgment sound; he's a good judge of material value and human character. For the most part he is self controlled and will rarely let his emotions cloud his judgement. He somewhat of an organizer at heart and likes to keep his possessions and even his friends as well organized and on the proper track. Sadly this results in him having a somewhat demanding and domineering persona along with a tendency to be rather rigid and stubborn at times.
A mother of 3 Shelly D'Franche was in a frenzy. Money was tight and her eldest son had been reaped less than a month before the birth of her newest child. Her son was a gentle boy and even in harsh times she had taught him to be a gentleman and as civil as possible. Why the capitol had chosen to reap him was mystifying to her, and though she wanted to fight it, she knew there was nothing she could do about it.Codeword: <img src=
The death of William D'Franche had a shattering effect on her psyche. She slowly began to slip away at her roles in life. In the medical profession she would make minor mistakes in analyzing patients. In the home she would stare out of the window of their house for hours on end while ignoring the cries of her new born son. Her life had reached an impasse and her inability to cope sent her into a downward spiral that lasted for years.
The child who she chose to ignore was her youngest and final child Lionel. He had been named after his deceased father who had wanted William to be named after him, but settled on letting him take up the monocle of his wife's late father. Lionel was not a happy baby, he was prone to tantrums which were usually ignored. His first few years of life were spent trying to gain attention, and though he always seemed to be ignored by his mother his sister Mary stayed attentive and donned the role of his mother in his mothers shambled state.
Thanks to Mary's efforts Lionel grew into a reasonably sound young man, but due to her young age Mary would sometimes overcompensate in some parenting situations and under-compensate in others. Still she did the best she could to raise her brother and learned from her mistakes over time.
By the time Lionel was ten Mary became afflicted with a rare illness. Despite their mothers previous medical prowess her mental condition had not changed since the death of her first son. Lionel worked hard to keep his sister, doing menial tasks to get funds for his sisters medication.
The illness itself was treatable, but not curable and at the time Lionel was left doing every job he could find to keep his sister medication consistent. After six years of back and forth Lionel has leaned toward the medical field, though he is truly uninterested in it he applies himself in order to save his sister.
