Appearance:
Avri looks much younger than she is. She is only about 4'5" and very thin. Long lashes frame her big green eyes. She also has a smattering of freckles across her nose and cheekbones. She has a ski-jump nose.

Her reddish hair would be a challenge to hide if she was reaped. It reaches her shoulders. Typical pale skin. Thin lips. Also she has very white,straight teeth.
Her eyes are wide and she looks a little scheming with her innocent eyes,pointed nose,and slightly evil-looking grin. When she wants or needs something,she makes her eyes even wider,pouts and voila! She gets what she wants.
Personality:
Avri is always happy. A total optimist. She always tries to find the bright side in things. But is there a bright side to everything?? Certainly not to being reaped,perhaps with her small stature,or being abandoned.

She is very polite. All parents love her. So do teachers. Sadly,most other kids don't. She is bullied at school and only has 1 friend who understands her. This results in an overly positive attitude to hide the sadness inside her.

She can,sometimes be a suck-up without meaning to. She is very complementary and smart. She is also,when the situation calls for it,a dirty little liar and a thief.

She is a strong believer in being honest,paying for your things,and not cheating. However,she has no qualms about helping her parents by doing these things because she is very loyal to her loved ones. Also,she loves to do things for others. She babysits other,younger children.
History:
Avri is an only child and has a fairly happy life living with her parents. They work as doctors and so she was alone a lot while they were at work. Her father taught her about edible plants,healing,poisons,and knives and darts so that she would have a chance of survival if reaped.

She can also lie fluently,though she hates doing it. She believes it,along with her natural ability to steal,very bad things to do. Peacekeepers give her sweets. Little do they know she is a never-apprehended thief.

All the adults baby her,as if she was much younger than she was. It is kept a secret that her older brother died in the games when she was only 2 and didn't know why he never came back. At the reapings every years,she cries for the poor children being sent to die.

She always wished for a twin sister,ever since her brother died. She is starting to figure out where he went all those years ago. But,she never mentions it. This is partially why all adults treat her as though she is a very small child,and not of reaping age. Her parents worry a lot,and put their focus in their work,rather than the child they are afraid to lose. Her best friend Kesha is her support during the tough times.
