Appearance:

David has been small, and probably will always be. Standing at 5'2 and weighing at only 106 lbs, he is one of the nimblest people in district 11. He has and average build, being able to lift 94 lbs at a time. He has dark chocolate eyes that seem to have a slight glazed look to them. He has few facial expressions, but he also has few emotions. His face is normally serious looking, and some of his friends tease him for having a "face of stone."

David has dark skin, with black, buzzed-cut hair. His arms are long for his age, which help him climb the trees and reach for plants that are in hard to get places. He has quick and nimble feet, which allows him to climb the trees quickly, and to be sneaky. He has a great sense of smell, which can identify anything he has smelt in his entire life time. He also has a great memory in general. He can remember almost all of his life. But recently, he has broken an arm while trying to turn to quickly in the mud.

Personality:

David is a very headstrong person. Its generally his way, or the highway. His few close friends don't mind that, but the people who don't really know him get annoyed by it. But during his work hours, he is one of the obedient kids in the area. He would do pretty much anything the harvesting team leader says. Once he's been given an order by his boss, he will follow it through.

David has many traits. He is very relaxed, most of the time. The only time when David is stressed is when he's late for anything, which is rare. He is also a good leader. He sometimes has to lead his group of harvesters when he has to. Some people even prefer him as their leader than the main one! But he has done some reckless stuff as leader that causes some to distrust him. He also has this aura surrounding him that can't really be described. It gives him this slight authoritative power.

David has a handful of weaknesses. It takes a while for him to process things. At the most random times, he starts spazzing out, which sometimes leads to minor injuries to himself. He also zones out from time to time, making it hard for him to concentrate. Another thing is that he won't always cooperate with others, because of his headstrong personality. That sometimes gets him in trouble with his friends' parents, or in the fields.

History:

David childhood was kind of lonely. His parents taught him that he was stronger alone than with others, and tried to keep him as isolated as possible. But as he started going to school, he realized that power was in numbers, not alone, so he tried to get as many friends as he could. Not everyone wanted to be friends with him, but he didn't care. He had enough.

As David grew older, he became more aware of the surrounding area. He became slightly more adventurous, and started wandering around the town. He made friends, attained enemies, and once saved a dogs life. One day, He found a little pond near were he lived. He then taught himself how to swim, and became pretty good at it (but not as good as anyone in district 4). He found other things, like abandoned buildings and the edges of District 11. He's thought about running away when he was older.

When David turned 14, he decided to get a job in the fields. When he started, it was hard for him to obey directions at first, but then he got more obedient. He's been working there ever since. Not even a year after he started working, his parents died in a field fire, along with a couple other people. David was overcome with sadness. His best friend allowed him to live with him and his family, along as David helped out around the house, and paid his share. Now, he's living happily with them, almost like a brother or a cousin.
