Age: 18
Gender: Male

Appearance:
Donevin is built tall and stocky like a football player with broad shoulders, muscular arms and a toned body. He's very handsome with dark brown hair that looks almost black, that's how dark it is. It's long enough to be shaggy and look messy, but not long enough to look like he's got long hair. His eyes are an earthy green color, like the color of grass. He has a thin nose, but it's proportionate to his lean, long face.Personality:
He looks like a football player, like I said, so he's tall, about 6'4'', and well built, very muscular. His hands are large, but very nimble, especially when handling a weapon, other than a bow or arrows. He's got an athletic air about him, with a tanned body. He can usually be seen wearing sweatpants and a loose t-shirt or sweatshirt of some kind, although he's clean to the point of OCD, he really doesn't care much about outward appearance.
The only obvious flaw on his face is a bad scar across his left cheekbone, where his father broke a bottle across his face the night his mother died in a fit of anger. It never truly healed right, so even though it's been nearly twelve years, the scar is still prominently white against his tan skin.
Donevin is very sure of himself, and very cocky. He's quick to anger, and violent when angry, and as strong as he is, he is not one to pick a fight with. He curses a lot, mostly thanks to his father's influence, and is very much a loner due to him. He avoids people for the most part, because the people he gets closest to end up getting hurt. Being so quick to anger also makes him belligerent, so most people usually avoid him, and those that don't, regret it.History:
The best way to calm him down is for him to clean something. He's extremely organized and neat, which seems strange for someone so...angry. He cannot stand to be around something dirty or disorganized, and when he really needs to just take a break and relax, he'll clean almost to the point of OCD. No matter how put off and set back from everyone else he is, Donevin is a hopeless romantic. If there is ever a girl he falls for, who is willing to put up with him, it'll be mushy flowers, chocolate and french for him. That is, if he lets them past his carefully created mental walls, which is fairly unlikely.
The main thing that has been drilled into his head for twelve long years, is that nothing is ever perfect. You can train every day for your entire life and never be good enough. You can be strong enough to lift a car, but it's still not good enough. You can go through the games, and live, and come home as a victor, and it's still not enough. His mother's gentle, kind, compassionate touch was buried somewhere deep inside him, and his father's rough reign and hateful demeanor has long since taken over, ruling his thoughts, actions, everything. Donevin loved his mother, and the loss of her broke something inside him, leaving him free to become such a guarded, hateful person.
Donevin has no siblings, he's an only child, which is probably a good thing, the less people his father has an effect on, the better. His mother died when he was six years old of a gunshot wound. Donevin shot her because his father handed him a gun to try teach him how to use it and it went off. His father loved his mother very, very much, and blamed Donevin for killing her, even though he's the one who gave the six year old the gun. Since her death, Paul (his father), has forced Donevin into training every single day of his life. Each year, a new type of weapon is added on to his plate, and he must master it to the best of his abilities, which is still never enough.Codeword: oDair
When he turned twelve, he was accepted into an elite peacekeeper's academy, and his dad was almost proud of him, mostly because it meant he wouldn't have to look at Donevin much longer. Unfortunately, after a fight, and then being framed for another fight, Donevin was kicked out of the academy at age fifteen, and his name is entered into the reapings for all the missed years and then some as punishment for wasting their time. Of course this made his father very angry, and he forced Donevin back into the old regime of work all day, every day.
There are days when Donevin will sneak out of the house, just to get a break from all of the training and hate from his father. Those are the days when he goes to bed with a black eye or split lip. He never fights back against his father, because he doesn't want to have another death on his hands.
Every single year at the reapings, his father tells him to volunteer, to go into the games and win to earn back his honor. And every single year, Paul is disappointed, and he beats Donevin with a metal bat until he's passed out on the floor in a pool of blood. Never once does Donevin fight back. This is the last year to volunteer, since he's eighteen. If he doesn't volunteer, his father will disown him, and consider him no longer his son, evicting him from his own house and refusing to speak his name.
Comments/Other:
He absolutely cannot use a bow for his life, no matter how pissed off that makes his father, and he's fairly good with most other weapons, except a gun, of course.
