Artimis is a formidable girl, though pretty if she tries to be. A Career, she is strong and well toned, particularly in her legs as she loves the thrill of the chase. She's only average height, standing at five foot three and weighing in at 115lbs. Her arms are long, as are her legs, meaning her torso is very small. She isn't very busty, having a fairly boyish figure. She generally wears a T shirt or check shirt and jeans, but when she trains she wears a training tunic, just to the mid-thigh, and thick leggings with soft leather shoes.

Her hair, when it falls down about her shoulders, falls half way down her back in inch curls. It's a pretty, though average dark brown colour that sets off her tanned skin quite well. Her eyes her best feature; they are huge and dark, the colour of beaten forest leaves pushed from their branches in a thunderstorm. Her eyelashes are long, thick and dark. Her right upper leg displays an ugly burn mark.

Her nose is small, her lips pink, though the latter makes it look like she's wearing lip gloss that does not match her skin. As a result, she frequently wears a natural coloured lipstick. To bring out her eyes even more, she wears kohl eyeliner. Her hair is generally tied back, with a couple strands hanging down next to her face, though she also pulls its up into a bun when she's bothered.

Personality:

Artimis is named after the goddess of the hunt, and like a hunter, she is aggressive, but clever. She knows all manner of snares and traps which will leave another person dangling with a spear through their heart. As a smart girl, she takes an interest in the sciences, and spends her time designing new traps. She is a snarky girl, very sarcastic, and very sharp.

Since she is so snarky, she doesn't have many friends, but she doesn't care. She has enough acquaintances who she can exchange training tips with. She speaks her mind, bluntly and unsympathetically. If people don't like the truth, then they can go shove it. She's often been called a bully and an insecure excuse of a girl by those whom she's bullied. But she knows this is only partially true; she can be a bully, but she is certainly no insecure girl.

Something she enjoys when not training is debating. From a combination of her brains and determination, she is excellent at it, frequently being called a dog on the bone. However, it can turn nasty, as she makes it personal. However, she allows herself to befriend her opponents, as they do not affect her training and are often as blunt as she is.

History:

Artimis has had a fairly average District Two upbringing. Born on the 25 March, she was named after the goddess of the hunt for a reason; her mother, a socialite, is desperate for her only child to be a future Victor. The girl is only too happy to oblige. The Games were her upbringing.

Her father, on the other hand, isn't so keen. He is more aware of the situations in the more outlying Districts and the true horror of what the Games are. While he is supportive enough of his daughter's ambitions, and they have a good relationship, they often argue about what the Games are.

The rigorous training that Artimis has gone through since childhood has affected her mentality. She isn't affected by sadness the way others are, she's never dreamed, she never learnt to make friends. She took the brutality from the Games into her everyday life, which often got her into trouble. However, by the time she turned eight she had learnt to put all her fury into training and- oddly- schoolwork. She never learnt to make friends, especially guy friends. Her mother constantly reminds her that she could end up having to kill any guy at school.

So her life was ordinary- well not extraordinary. Encouraging parents, Career training, a complete lack of friends. She can enjoy herself.
