Kiera Torren, D4~Fine

Appearance: Kiera is rather short, about 5'4, with yellow/blonde hair which she usually wears down so that it hangs to the middle of her back in long, curly waves. On a hot day when fishing, Kiera wears her hair in an attractive side ponytail. The most remarkable thing about Kiera’s appearance is that of her eye color. While her hair is a corn yellowy blonde, her eyes are light brown, which makes people, especially boys, look at her twice. She also has a nice tan from daily fishing trips, and some freckles along the bridge of her nose, just below her eyes. She has a small gash on the bottom left side of her jaw, which she received from a shark once.
Kiera likes to wear deep blue to offset her bright hair and striking eyes, so most of her clothing is soft, dark blue or green. She wears grays and white clothing as well, though it doesn’t really matter about your clothing style in the districts. Often, Kiera can blend in very easily with her surroundings; you don’t really notice her unless she wants you too. However, once you have seen Kiera, she is hard to miss ever again

Personality: Quiet but sly, Kiera sees all and listens, hearing and seeing all the valuable information worth anything around District four. Though she is quiet, Kiera can be opinionated at times, when she believes in something with a passion. She often feels the need to pull others in a debate to her side, though she rarely succeeds. However, with her looks, and the low, seductive tone of her voice, she usually has several guys ready to agree with what she’s saying. Kiera is a born swimmer, and can hold her breath for very long periods of time.
However, Kiera is friendly and makes friends very easily. She has a ready smile and tries to be encouraging, though sometimes is thought of as being critical of something or someone she really hates or dislikes. Kiera is very good with a short blade when she has one, since those are what fishermen use in the cleaning of fish, and opening shells of crustaceans. She enjoys swimming, fishing with her bare hands, being with nature, boys, running, and keeping fit. She hates mushrooms, the capitol, big mouths, people who always answer back, and liars.
Kiera’s main traits would be cunning, clever wits, and the ability to take action in adversity. Being a girl in District four, Kiera has to deal with annoying fishing supervisors and people who are always asking her why she isnt’ a district one child, because she is so stunning. Kiera is slightly conscious of her teen beauty, and therefore, does not like to draw attention to herself, as she thinks she may not be as pretty as “all that.” She enjoys helping district four with fishing, as the water and all the life inside it captivates her imagination, and she likes collecting things from the beach and from the underwater coves. She can swim without closing her eyes underwater, and with shorts and a tank top on, which takes some skill. If you don’t find Kiera working with killing and collecting the catch of the day, you’ll find her reading in the beach sand or swimming around the shoals, looking for valuables and things to eat, though she does this on the sly.

History: When she was a young girl, Rachel became a sister to two little boys, whom she adores. Her mother and father are both living, though her mother likes to go away to meet “clients” rather a lot, from which she earns the bulk of the money in the family. Her husband is a fisherman, and both husband and wife are handsome and beautiful, just Kiera’s mother knows it and that is why she sells herself for use. Only Kiera knows about this, because her mother made her swear never to tell her father about it, and to say she had a job as a model in the capitol.
Kiera began working for her father’s fishing boat early as a young girl. She was very helpful, and often got lots of the young men to help her father, because of her being a young and rare beauty. Kiera loves fishing with her father, and wished that they could do it more often. Her father often worked on the boat, but Kiera didn’t see him regularly, only at night, when the two went home for dinner. Often, because there were two fishing workers in her family, Kiera’s family never goes hungry, because they are given a double portion of fish from the work, though they are not totally full from a meal usually. Kiera and her mother give the boys their share half the time, and that is mostly the reason she and her mother keep their curvaceous figures.
Kiera fell in love twice. Once when she was seven, the other time when she was 13. The 13 year old crush still is Kiera’s best friend, Jon, and they often talk, though they are closer than just being friends. Kiera is now 15, and she still enjoys her friendships, trying to make the most of her time when she is not working, which is very little. Kiera often likes to sit in cut off short shorts and a white tank top, and laugh and talk with Jon about her worries in life. She is always open to adventure, and has found out that life can delve you some pretty nasty suprises, like the time she fell in the fishing water with a shark they had just caught, giving her the gash on her jaw. Though Kiera is less talkative than most, she is always adventurous, and willing to do something daring.
