Ro is very tall and light for her age, standing at about 5" 7' and weighing around 120 pounds. A lot of kids in her district use this to their advantage and call her "chicken legs". That may be how they view her, but Ro is actually quite pretty.

She has pin-straight brown hair, reaching to her hip. Her skin is a deep olive color, which makes her dark hazel eyes stand out. Her face is round and innocent-looking, which could be an advantage to her if she were ever in the games.

Because she is skinny, she is not very strong. This is a little odd for a District 2 girl, since they are meant to do the Capitol's heavy stone work.

Since she can't lift the stones, her father believes she will be given carving jobs. Such as carving statues and little stone sculptures.

Personality:

How do I describe Ro's personality? She has so many different traits. If you break it down, you might say she has two sides: a good one and a bad one. You'll have to look carefully if you want to see the good one.

Ro is very smart, and likes to get her own way. She often doesn't have the patience to listen to what others have to say. Perhaps she got this trait from her mother, who always bossed her siblings around. Ro herself has the same habit. She enjoys telling them what to do, where to go, and what to say...even if they don't.

Ro isn't all bossy and stubborn, though. Break through that hard shell, and you'll see a kind girl whose just too shy to act like her normal self. She's worried others won't like her if she doesn't act like them.

Her true self is quite funny and friendly, compared to her shell. Around some people she'll act normal, such as her parents and best friend. She's a little shy and loves to read books, but often doesn't have the time because she's busy with stonework.

History:

Ro was born to Samuel and Josephine Martinez, the first child in a family of four kids. She grew up for two years like any normal kid would, being the only child in the house. She almost always got her way, and never had to take care of younger siblings. Until her mother announced she was going to have another baby. At first, Ro was very excited and happy for her mother. She thought it would be great to have another kid to play with.

But then, on the day he baby was born, her parents immediately paid more attention to it than anything else. They named him Sage, after Samuel's older brother. Ro liked the name and tried to help out but her parents said she was too young.

So, she decided to hang out with her friends more often. They started to tease her for having a sibling she didn't care for, and that's when her shell began to form. She became stubborn, never letting others get there way. She bossed her little brother around, and some kids actually started to like her the way they had before Sage was born. Another two years later, Aster and Kamryn, the twins, came into the family.
This made Ro's shell harder. She began to think about the Hunger Games, though she was only five years old. The girl started training a little earlier then most, and swore that some day, she would win the games. She knows right now she could probably make it to the top eight, but the Careers would kill her off because she's so young. When she's fifteen, she plans to volunteer.
