Appearance:
Wren is big, Career tribute big. He has blueish-grey eyes, unlike most people in the Midas family. He is only a year apart from his brother, Billy, but they look entirely different. Wren has brown hair, no scars, and definitely darker skin. He get his tan from the days he spends exercising outside.Personality:
His hair is much less kept than his father, Jacob, and his brother, Billy. It sprays everywhere and none the less, he never combs it. He is probably the most separate looking Midas in District 7. His legs are long, which is the most logical reason he is taller than his father. Even though he has trained for years, becoming more different from his family for years, he wishes to blend with them and get to know them better than he does.
I have always thought My dad was the best in his side of the family. I always looked up to him. In fact, it wasn't until Billy started working that I found a different role model. Though nobody is flawless, including me, I think Billy shows all the character that a role model needs. I envy him. But this isn't about him, it's about me.History:
I've never had a love life. I never wanted one. In fact, the only girl I've kissed is my mom. Her comas drive the entire family into separation. I really feel that she is the number one priority when it comes to my home life. However, when I'm not focused on her, I am diligently training. Sometimes my training gets in the way of my emotions. For example, a bad day at training, will make me mad as I come home and, I'll be the house problem. A good day at training, will result in my morals being the most protruding feature.
But then, Mom always calms me down if I've had a bad day, and Dad usually congratulates me if I've had a good day. It can be challenging sometimes, but if I train, -before I volunteer- I can swing faster, and that will bring more money in, Right? I have always treated money as an evil thing, but it's all we have in this world of greed. The obtaining of such can prove to be difficult but, I just hope that someday, we'll have enough money to save Mom.
I was the Star-child for one year. Then Billy came in, I was tied with him. With 14 months apart, we weren't considered twins because we looked so different, but we were pretty close. As we live on a big lake in District 7 -where there is a bit of clean water to swim in- it was obvious that Billy was cut out for swimming, while I was cut out for cutting down trees. Since then, I've been trying to show that I have more strength than him, though I look up to him.Codeword: Odair
When I was 14, I decided that the best honor was to become a Victor for my district. I believed this would help bring my family up from the seam-esque area we live in, and help my mom out of her diabetic comas. But I knew that if I were going to be a victor, I would have to be sure I could go up against the Careers. So I trained and trained. I trained for 3 years, and I haven't missed a single tree when it comes to throwing axes this year. I haven't stopped working, though. I believe I am ready, either this year or the next, to volunteer.
However, as much as I say I am ready to volunteer, the fear tugs at my heart. Every year, even good Career tributes die. I throw twenty axes every day, and swing even more, but that won't stop a mad man throwing a knife, and it definitely won't stop some Capitol made fear to poison me or tear me up. If I die -which, mathematically, is a ninety-five percent chance- My family will have one less axe-swinger, and one less hand on Mom's shoulder. Sometimes, it's too hard being the only Career tribute in District 7

He may fear losing his family, but thats only proportional to his hope of saving it.
