Andrew Green - District 1

Andrew is relatively short for his age, standing at around 5'5, and extremely lanky. He has a nice tan, and is always sought after by the ladies. As a matter of fact, he is usually seen with a girl, often older ones around 17. He has short blonde hair and small brown eyes.

At first glance, he is obviously a Career. You couldn't miss it. He is always surrounded by people and extremely charismatic. He is always the leader in everything he does, whether it is a sports team or his Career training.

However, his posture is extremely crooked due to a back problem when his back was broken in his younger days. Although he has adapted to it and it doesn't hamper him too much physically, he often has a hunched posture and difficulty standing up straight. This will be another reward of victory for Andrew. The ability to stand proud and tall.

Although he may be young, he has a mature personality, which is yet another one of his attractive features. He is very confident, often too much so, about his Career factor. It often comes to the point of arrogance, because he knows he is athletic, attractive, and naturally born for success. His arrogance often gives him trouble and gets him in to things he can't handle. However, it doesn't seem to hamper his popularity at all.

He is always flirting with the ladies. It makes him feel wanted, because he was never wanted as a child. As a matter of fact, everything he does stems from a horrible childhood. His arrogance, need for attention, and most importantly his Career training. He feels as if he has to make up for all of the time lost. And he fully plans to make up for all of the time lost, as he will reap all of the riches of victory, and make his new family proud that they took in such a wonderful child.

Being beaten as a child gave him severe anger problems, ones that even now he has trouble controlling. He has a short fuse, even with his best friends, and he will not hesitate to explode if he feels that he or any of his friends are being done wrong. If it's one thing he can't stand, it is justified wrongdoing. And he will have none of it. However, in his mind, that doesn't include the Games, which are his greatest entertainment.

Andrew started his Career training the first summer after living in the Green household. He grew very bored and wanted to prove his worth to himself. He would not be the charismatic young man he is today if not for the intense Career training. He is coached by his mother, although she tried her best to talk him out of being a Career for years. After she realized his dedication, however, the entire Green household, including his older brother, backed Andrew in his quest for victory.

When he was younger however, Andrew's life was not good at all. He came from another family in District 1, where he was not wanted. He was mentally and physically abused. When he was 9 years old, he finally fought back against his father and smashed a vase over his head. After that, he ran off into the night, never looking back until he was picked up by the Green family. His one wish was fufilled. To be loved.

His weapon is the bow. He got his first bow at 9 years old, upon moving in to the Green household, and he has shot it every day since then. He is confident that if there is a bow in the Arena, then he will be unstoppable. During sparring matches with his brother, he always wins. However, he has one big fear in the Games. He does not want to kill a friend. As a matter of fact, he's not sure he can. I guess he'll find out the hard way.
