Renai Scott - District 1

Renai is 1.68 metres tall, quite tall for her age. She weighs 53 kilos, a healthy weight for her age. She is very boyish looking (and often confused as one), short black hair, very big, dark brown eyes. In the dark this makes her look quite dangerous because her eyes look completely black. She has a sharp nose that is quite small in proportion to her head. Her mouth is small as well.

She is quite pretty but next to most girls is overshadowed. This is one of the reasons she likes to hang out with boys because she enjoys competing with them, also having grown up with a lot of boys she finds it easier to be herself aound them. She doesn't think of herself as pretty and can't stand being called cute (or anything like that) because she likes to think of herself as one of the boys.

She is white, very pale, and can look quite ghost like if you come across her in a dark night. Her arms and legs are both quite long. Her legs are most of her body and her top half is short. Her legs are about 86cm, her top half is about 64cm, her head is about 14cm and her neck is about 4cm.

Although tall, like stated she tends to be overshadowed, this means that people tend to ignore her when she's with others. Although Renai looks weedy she's quite strong, would find lifting 25 pounds easy but would struggle with anything more than 50. She is also very, very fast.

On her arm she has a long scar running from her left shoulder to her left elbow and also from the corner of her left eye to the corner of her mouth. Both were caused in the same accident and will never leave her.

Renai has quite a big family but is the youngest and one of only two girls. Her sister is very pretty and completely overshadows her. Due to this she has always made a point of being very boyish and only responds to Ren, which she thinks is closer to a boys name. She makes a point of keeping fit now that she is within the ages of being picked for the reaping.

If you don't know her she seems to be a very quiet person who isn't very polite because she doesn't respond to Renai. Also, you won't have much luck becoming her friend if you don't have any common ground. She tends to be very fixated on one thing and doesn't like to talk until she's finished with it.

If she's friends with girly girls Renai tends to tease them a little but in the end feels like she has to protect them. However, if you're boyish then she will be fiercly competitive and will try to beat you at eveything. She enjoys fighting, and is not bothered about violence because being surrounded by boys and growing up with the hunger games has meant she has just got used to it.

Her main flaws are being over competitive, jealous and the fact that though she keeps people at a distance she does tend to get lonely and likes being with friends. Although she is hard to get to know she is one of the most loyal people you'll ever meet. The downside is she can go wild if you're hurting her friends.

Renai is one of six children, four boys and two girls. Chen (boy, 18 - pronounced shen) is the oldest followed by Kloda (girl, 17 - pronounced clow, as in flow but with cl and then duh), Xeven (boy, 16 - his names means lively and his personality matches, pronounced X, then little u, then vun) Yeshe (boy, 15 - his name means wise one and he lives up to it, he's very calm and thinks things over but his calm exterior is undermining for when he's angry he's a force to be reckoned with, his name is pronounced yesh and he's one of the twins) Zylon (boy, 15 - one of the twins) and then Renai (girl, 14 - name pronounced wren and then ay).

Renai has both her parents, her mum is 36 and her dad is 42. Both are working but save to give their children a better chance. She wasn't the youngest, Zev (boy) was but he was lost in one of the previous hunger games. Both her parents and her two oldest siblings (Chen and Kloda) work in the same factory.

Xeven is closest with Renai,works with wood, cutting it down for the luxury boxes and Renai carves the intricate designs. Her work is known in the capitol. Whenever boxes don't meet the standard they're sold to the fellow people for their storage.

Yeshe and Zylon are both in seperate factories. They don't talk much at home about what they do but both are quite strong in the family.

When Renai was growing up she was mainly looked after by her sister Kloda and her two brothers Xeven and Yeshe. Xeven was always lively and ensured that Renai was being trained for the hunger games but didn't make her aware of it. When young he used to push the trunks of the trees he'd cut down towards her and get her to push them back. Slowly her strength was built up. He also trained her to run, used to race her around until eventually she could beat him.

Ever since Renai was the age of eight she's been working with wood. She got into it because Xeven used to look after her and he cuts down trees for the luxury wood boxes. He made her a little saw out of metal and let her play with the little blocks of wood. This was how she got into carving the wood and now makes luxury boxes.

Every year Renai attends the reaping and having been trained by her family she feels that she'd have a medium chance of succeeding in the games. However, unlike fellow children of her age she doesn't want to go into the hunger games.

She doesn't like the hunger games having lost a brother to it and all of her family (except her parents) are eligible. She's most worried about Yeshe or Zylon being picked for the hunger games because they're very close and being twins they share a very special bond.
