Age: 16
Gender: Female
District/Area: District 2
Appearance:
Rayne has dark blue eyes, straw blonde hair, and peach colored lips. Her skin is a pale color; she is 5 foot 6 inches and weighs 113 pounds. With such a thin build she most certainly is not the strongest girl in her district, her ultimate weakness is her lack of strength, no matter how much she trains; she never is able to equally verse others in a fight, a serious setback for her.Personality:
On the other side, she is a very fast runner, on account of the fact that she has to run away from her enemies. Rayne has an attractive enough face, heart shaped, and innocent looking, but she is far from what she appears. Currently, Rayne’s hair is dark brown, almost black with blonde tips. Her eyebrows are rounded, not arched and when she smiles you can see the dimple on her left side.
Unfortunately, she rarely smiles. She is known as a troublemaker at school to the other students and often gets into trouble; she is mean to most, while she seems like the nicest girl in the world to those who benefit her. Even so, she is always kind to her family and those she truly cares about. Her two-faced personality causes much gossip to be centered on her and as a result she is lacking in the friends department. She is manipulative and in the event of being a tribute would most definitely betray one of her own.History:
Rayne is a complex person whose emotions seem to always be showing, but a brighter side of her is hiding and is showed only to those she trusts. Those who trust her either get hurt, badly. Or end up cherishing all the experiences they've spent with her. Although she gets in trouble at school, that doesn’t mean she isn’t smart. She is clever with numbers, words, and pictures. With a nearly photographic memory, at the same time she is almost failing history because of the lies she believes the Capitol spew in the books. She prefers reading her father’s books secretively, a closet bookworm.
Despite her seemingly harsh “take no prisoner’s attitude,” Rayne is not only a pessimistic person; she is filled with humor, which instantly lightens the mood. Rayne is also a very outspoken person and will speak her mind no matter what the cost, often resulting in punishments. Ruthless, fast, and quick-witted, she is someone you can’t exactly trust, but are willing to take the chance anyways.
Rayne’s eldest brother died 3 years prior from a peacekeeper, whipped to death for sneaking out past curfew to try to get to a different district. Her family is well-off, but her father spends money on alcohol so often that they go hungry on countless nights. Rayne has two other siblings, her younger sister aged 13, and her older brother aged 20. Because she’s from District 2, a career district, she has trained since a young age to be a part of the hunger games. Rayne’s father works for the capitol so her family has access to lots of things, but her father mostly keeps it to himself, the one time she received anything from her father was when he gave her a bottle of dye so she could dye her hair black, saying that anything would make her more attractive.Codeword: oDair
Rayne is currently un-employed, but used to work part-time for a jewelry store in the marketplace of District 4. Hearing this, her father demanded her to quit saying the job was frivolous and he could provide for the family on his own. Since her father’s outrage over the job, Rayne has not applied for another job. What she fills her days with are training for The Games with her siblings, and going to school during the required times.
As a child Rayne was much more positive, and had many friends. Over the years she has grown colder due to the way her father raised her. Her view in life was always playful and uncaring until her eldest brother past away. Rayne was always pretty, so she was often picked on by other girls. Changing from an innocent little girl to a troublemaking bookworm, she has definitely matured over the years. Both physically and mentally, don’t mess with Rayne, because you’ll never know what she might do in return.
