Kate Monroe District Two

Kate Monroe is a relatively short girl. Standing five foot two she was always shorter than everyone else. Kate's complexion is sort of pale, but not completely.
Her face is oval shaped with rounded cheeks and round chin. Her eyes are a light blue that stand out under her thick dark eyelashes.
Kate weighs ninety-nine pound and is semi-athletic. Her body is practically straight down with a slight curve for her chest and hips.
Katherine has long medium brown hair that is straight. It never curls now matter how much effort she puts into it.

Kate was a happy, hopeful girl that depended on her family. She was helpful and joyous. Kate used to have tons of friends she would talk to and hang out with. She was loving and talkative until Daisy's death.
After her death, Kate separated herself from the world. She became dark and sullen. She spent her nights sobbing and completely depressed.
Soon, her depression became anger. Those nights she spent crying were now hours she spent training. She would throw knives at dummies repeatedly. So often that she never missed. She let her anger a out.
People began ignoring her. She felt left out, so she silenced herself. She began only speaking when spoken to. Soon, no one would talk to her, so she stopped talking all together. People often mistake her for a mute.
Now, Kate is a silent, unnoticed girl that is alone. She is still not talked to. She is still thought to be mute, but that is if people remember her. Kate is like a silent ghost.

Kate, like most people in District Two, was born in District Two. Her parents were rich but she never went around bragging. She lived happily with her parents and her sister, Daisy, until Daisy was killed.

Daisy hung out with the wrong group of friends. They would steal from houses at night. Daisy never went along but everyone they hung out together. One day, they were robbing the head Peacekeeper's house. Daisy was there trying to talk them out of it.

One day, Kate and her family were watching the news when peacekeepers came into their house. They accused her of thievery and she was killed in front of District Two. When she watched her sister die, she was distraught. She didn't speak to anyone after.

After watching her sister die, she blocked herself off from the rest of the world. Kate began to take her sadness and anger and put it into fighting. By thirteen she had become silent, and lethal with the knife.
