Alena has been told many times over that she is a beautiful girl. While she looks older than her age, she has not gotten any of the treatments District Two is offered regularly. She does find herself putting on makeup every so often but it is light makeup and she only wears it heavy to parties and such. When Alena does wear makeup, it always brings out her cold, gray/green/ice blue eyes. Often she puts on lip-gloss anywhere she goes, but she does not put it on in public.

Alena is rather tall for her age - standing at about 5'9" - and she is very leggy. She often wears shorts and outfits that show off her legs and she is very capable of become a model in the Capitol after she turns 18 years old and her name is out of the reaping bowls. She is slim and skinny, with slender curves.

Alena's hair has gone from different lengths throughout her life but at the moment it is just below her ears and is styled in soft, small ringlets and curls. Her hair is a dark red color, bringing out her eyes even more. Her skin is a light pale color and her hands are slim and agile. Her nails are often painted a bright red color and sometimes stenciled with darker red designs on them. Alena is always finding ways to be in the best fashion possible but without having her outfits seem too strange like the Capitols. She often finds the most simple dresses and styles to look the best on her, though everything on her would seem good on her slender frame. All in all, Alena is a very sexy, beautiful girl.

Alena has a very mysterious, seductive type of personality. 'Alena' in Russian means 'torch' which is another part of her personality. She does have a very sexy, sly side to her but it only comes out if she is very attracted to someone or if she wants something very badly. Alena is used to getting her way more than others, but that does not mean that she is stiff-necked. But she is very determined and once she sets her mind to something she strives to get it at whatever costs, even if it means getting in trouble or putting herself in danger.

Alena can be considered a player in a girl's version. She loves to play with boys' hearts and it is one of her favorite past-times. With her body, she could probably get away with anything and she usually does. She is very deliberate in her actions and she does not believe in doing things for no reason.

Alena can get very heated and angry at someone if they do something toward her that would cause her to get mad. When someone does something to Alena that is very terrible, she will always seek vengeance. Often this gets her in trouble but she usually does not care as long as her vengeance is distributed.

Alena could seem like she is pairing with you on one side of things, but then totally switch. She has a twisted, nasty side when it comes to siding in battles and often in any type of battle she is helping either side but both for her own benefit. She will not do something if she does not get anything out of it. She is a very interesting, twisted girl that often does not make any sense to someone trying to figure her out.

Alena's history shows how she came to be the way she is. While her past is twisted and dark, it is obvious she learned her tricks from someone. That someone is her own mother. As a child, Alena ended up with several other half-siblings as her mother tended to lean toward one-night standings instead of settling with one man. Alena's toying-with-the-hearts technique was taught by her own mother and the passion to play with boys also was handed off from her mother. Even as a young girl, Alena learned from her mother.

While little is known about Alena's father, there are rumors that he is a very productive man living somewhere in District Two. Since Alena's mother had to have somewhere for her children to live, Alena spent most of her days in her uncle's house - running around and learning from her mother all the while.

As Alena grew older and went to school, she was among the popular kids and broke many boys' hearts. She dated many and broke up with many and never once was she actually in it for the love. She always had some way or another of dating the boy whether it was for the money or for the popularity or whatever.
