Gabriella Rose District 1

Gabriella is known as a very naturally beautiful girl all throughout
her district, even many people from the Capitol that have seen her are very jealous of her beauty. They know they cannot recreate her look even with the best, most expensive makeup. Bella has very beautiful bright green eyes. So similar to cats eyes, you can see them in the dark from a mile away. Even without makeup they are the most beautiful eyes throughout Panem, but on those days where she has the attention span to add a little bit of makeup, her eyes come alive. To go along with those eyes she has long wavy brunette hair. You could never tell how long and thick it actually is though because she is always
wearing it up in a tight bun. It gets in her way too much and she feels it's much cooler with everything just tied back and out of the way. Bella isn't a very thin girl, but she is also not a very large girl either. Just by the look of her you could tell she came from a very wealthy district where she was very well nourished all her life. She is always glowing. She is a very tan girl as
well. She has natural olive skin, passed down from her beautiful mother, who looks very very similar to Bella.

Although Gabriella is gorgeous and a lot of people do envy her, she still sees some flaws in herself that most other people don't take notice to. She thinks she is too small -- in height. She hates the fact that she is only a mere 5 foot 1 inch. Even though that's not the shortest she has ever seen, she hates the fact that she's not any taller and that she probably won't grow much more. She also hates the fact that she bites her nails way too much. Her hands, although small, look manly because she is always chewing down her nails and biting her skin. She has smooth skin and barely any blemishes, but she always seems to find
something wrong with herself. She has a few imperfections here and there, it's not nearly enough for anyone else but herself to notice. What she is most insecure about is down her left arm she has a birthmark. It starts at her underarm and goes down to the inside of her elbow. Although almost no one notices it because its on the inside of her arm, she feels as though everyone is staring at it.

Bella is a very insecure girl about a lot of things, but she tries really hard not to show it. She is a smart girl, smarter than what she makes herself come across as. She can be a manipulative girl when she needs to be. She has something similar to a split personality. There's one where she keeps in her head and to herself, which is the adventurous and dangerous girl who would love to just start trouble and cause a huge commotion. Then there's the other side of her that people see which is this sweet innocent girl who can do no wrong. She is quite a shy girl, which is why her inner personality ends up not shining through. She does like to be in the spotlight though, which is a little bit of a trait clash because she is shy and timid but also likes to have her moments in the limelight.

Bella always likes to conjure up these thoughts in her head of saving everyone in Panem and making it a wonderful place to live. She knows in reality she can't really do much about it and she absolutely hates that. In her spare time, Bella likes to sing. She has a good voice and she and her mother sing together all the time. Bella is always ready to make new friends. She gets very lonely and bored when she has noone to talk to. She keeps her friends and her family very very close and she does not handle tragedy well at all. Bella loves all animals and she enjoys just watching the wildlife in their daily routine. She is a vegetarian for the most part, which her mom hates, so sometimes her mom secretively stirs up some meat in her soups, which Bella usually always ends up finding out. She loves the sun and likes to go for long walks in the sunshine. Most of the time she likes to go by herself, but sometimes she enjoys the company of a friend or maybe even her mother. Gabriella is very interested in flowers, all different types. This is why she enjoys her walks so much. She gets to pick out the different flowers, learning about each new one she finds each day she goes farther and farther on her walk.

Bella's personality is a great one, she's never mean to anyone, she's an all around great person. She doesn't have any flaws when it comes to the way she acts simply because she usually puts on a facade in front of people because she doesn't want to get anyone unhappy or upset with her. At home and to herself, she has many flaws just like every other normal person. Bella gets very moody sometimes and does become a bit mean, especially to her mother. She doesn't realize when she's doing it. The only thing Bella really hates is how shy she is when being around a group of people or meeting anyone new for the first time. She has gotten over that fear a lot, but sometimes it still does creep back and hold her back from doing what she wants to do. Bella is an all around generous and caring person. She wants to help everyone in need all the time, which sometimes may end up leading her into trouble..

Gabriella Rose seems to have the perfect life right now, but it isn't as perfect as her mother and herself try to make it seem. They never want to worry anyone else or have anyone talk bad about them, so they keep a lot of secrets. Bella grew up with a mother and a father until the age of 11, which was 7 years ago. Her father was a great guy and always wanted the best for Bella and her mother. He was a very smart man, which is where Bella gets her intellect from. He was so smart and created many different inventions and gadgets that were used all around the district. One day, he had just dissappeared and neither Bella nor her mother have seen him after that. They had absolutely no idea what happened. They searched and searched for him every day for a year. He was nowhere to be found, so a funeral was held for him. That was the last thing they could turn to for closure. They do not believe he is actually dead, but they always wonder if he had just run away and hid purposely without them. They keep wanting answers, but can't find them.

So, Bella and her mother are living their lives in District 1 like nothing ever happened. Bella hasn't spoken to her father in 7 years. This is something that she and her mother never talk about anymore. They don't get their hopes up thinking that one day he will come back, it's just something that everyone knows will never happen. They wanted to keep their spirits high always. So they ignored the fact that the worst is possible and they moved on and kept living day by day.

Bella and her mom became very very close over the next 7 years and they talked and did everything together. They were each others rocks and they protected each other. Bella became suspicious of her mother after she began getting letters and photos. Her mother would never let her see them. She just assumed they were letters from her father, but she didn't know why her mother would keep them from her, so she then started to get angry that her mother would not let her read her fathers letters or write back to him. One day, Bella's mother was out getting food from the market, so Bella went up into her mom's bedroom looking around for where all these letters and pictures were. She looked in the room, every corner, under everything, and then she found it under the bed. It was a shoebox full of these letters and full of these pictures. Bella began to look at some of the first letters ever sent. They were not from her father, but from this family in District 12. The pictures were all of this family that looked very similar to her own. Bella didn't know what was going on and she wanted to know right away what was being hidden from her. Her mother came back unnoticed and caught Bella in the shoebox. She knew she couldn't hide it any longer and she told her the story of how she is related to this family of district 12. Bella's mom didn't want anyone else to know because they are from a poor coal mining district, which is very different from district 1. She made Bella promise she would not tell a single soul their secret and Bella has kept this secret all along, but a new fire has started in her mind and she wants to help save this family from district 12. She doesn't know how or when, but this is family and she has always been taught that family comes first. Now is her time to shine like she has always wanted and save her relatives from starvation and death.
