Marlena Becker: Age 18
Who are you now?
Marlena's the pretty one right? She's the one with the tanned, heart-shaped face, and milk chocolate covered eyes. Her eyebrows are always perfectly thin and arched, but not too thin, as if she goes to a salon on a regular basis to get them done. Her nose is small, but not ugly. She has round lips that are always lined with any shade of lipstick that her sister would wear. Her hair is a dark shade of brown and cascades down to the middle of her back.
Marlena's arms are thin and toned, but should not be underestimated. They're really strong and muscular. Her legs are also very muscular and can support her long distance running.
Her figure is one of an hourglass. An hourglass that some would covet. But she has it too... Marlena's body isn't one that would be coveted if they knew what was underneath. Scars cover Marlena's body. Some spell out words that scream in her mind, others are just bruises to remind her.
"Imperfect" is carved into her stomach and serves as a constant reminder of what she isn't. "Whore" is carved into her left forearm and "bitch" is carved into her right. The words aren't the only scars that cover Marlena's body. Her body is also bruised. Especially her back from when the belt comes out.

In order to show that there are no scars that cover Marlena's body, she puts up a tough exterior. Insults are easy for her to rattle off. Because they're her specialty... She's a bitch and she's not afraid to tell the world what she is. This also means that Marlena's an honest person and tells people like it is. Except when it comes to her history. She doesn't like to share that...
The real Marlena is clueless as to who she really is. Since she's forced to be exactly like her sister, she's lost sense of who she truly is. She thinks that the real her is a cruel heartless bitch, but that's only because that's what she's supposed to be. She's a clone. A puppet. A doll that's been shaped to be exactly like her sister. So much like her sister that she's lost who she really is. And she fears finding out who she truly is.

Marlena grew up with what some people would call a lot. Her older sister was a victor and her family was very well off. Marlena started training at a young age and knives are her weapon of choice. Her parents would always say "As long as you have a knife, you will be the victor." She always carries around a knife (most of the time, in her bra), so that she can be under the influence that she is the victor.
Since her older sister, Karissa, was the victor of the 50th Hunger Games, Marlena is forced to be exactly like her in every single way. She always had to style her hair like her, wear the same clothing style as her, even train like her. Every single thing that Marlena did, had to be exactly the way that Karissa did it. And if she didn't? Let's just say it wasn't pretty.
That's the reason for her scars. If she didn't do something that Karissa wouldn't do, or like Karissa, she would be punished. Marlena lives in fear that someone would catch her doing something that's not like Karissa and she would get hurt for it by her dad while her mom just stood there acting as if nothing was going on.
