Malachite Conundrum || [D2]

A.P.P.E.A.R.A.N.C.E.

hair: brown. malachite's hair can be found sleeked to the side with a lot of hair gel. he keeps it looking nice and makes sure that it is neatly parted down the left side. his bangs are pushed back to give him a fluffed up look in the front. the color of his hair is a deep brown that often looks very streaky due to how he combs it with the gel.

eyes: gray. looking into his eyes the deep walls surrounding them make them seem dark and opaque. malachite always has an intense focus to his demeanor that makes his eyes have a glazed-over effect from staring at something too long. his eyes that look like ash up close due to their smoky color. often it is difficult to look into his eyes because he covers them with sunglasses due to a sensitivity to intense sunlight.

face: angular. with high cheek bones, sunken in cheeks, and an acute chin, his face a lot of depth to it. a lot of different layers, like an onion. malachite has pursed lips that stick out from his face creating yet another layer. inside those lips are some pearly whites that while being somewhat crooked, give him a unique quality. moving up on the face, his eyebrows are neatly manicured in their dark-brown state that they seem to float above his eyes. and last as we move toward the perimeter of malachite's face you get his ears, shaped with a point on the top and then curving around into his head, they complete the whole package of having an onion-like face.

body: lanky. malachite isn't that big of a male, he's tall, but his figure doesn't match that. his muscle mass is there just he is more fit to be a runner than a fighter. however, he works with what he has and tries to be as strong as he possibly can. being about five feet, eleven inches, but only weighing one-hundred thirty pounds does give him somewhat of a disadvantage. he walks with grace, though due to him having rather long legs that seem to compliment how he is shaped. malachite often tries to go barefoot because his feet look nice and it makes him seem shorter, more proportional.

clothing: preppy. he is one that will show off his personality through fashion. malachite wears all of the latest styles, never leaving the house without looking like a king. it can be assumed he is some popular college student from how he dresses. once again he uses layers to give himself the perfect look, starting with designer jeans and a t-shirt. then he puts on a button down, jacket, sunglasses, and a pair of oxfords. rounding out the look malachite throws in an expensive watch just to say i'm extra wealthy.

P.E.R.S.O.N.A.L.I.T.Y.

positives: leader. no one gives orders to him, everything is run by malachite and for malachite. he often takes control and knows how to run things well, always completing exactly what he starts. coming with being a person of power, he thinks things over well and often makes good decisions. malachite also takes a lot of confidence and pride in his choices, while sometimes that leads to disappoint he is usually able to overcome it using patience and humility.

negatives: stubborn. with being a natural-born leader comes the ability to not be able to accept things. malachite often goes into a rage when he is told no or that something isn't allowed because being wealthy he hasn't had to ever truly face a definite no in his life. that can lead him to trouble since he often loses control. nothing is worse than having him angry, it is very difficult for him to calm down, leading to him doing things he shouldn't. malachite also is possessive and very selfish over his possessions and does not like sharing.

likes: fighting. being a career you're main goal in life is to go into the hunger games and win, thus training is number one in malachite's life. thankfully, he enjoys it and often gets out some of his anger problems through practicing slicing off the head of a dummy. his satisfaction comes from winning, leading to him to be very competitive and aggressive. those feelings go away though when he does what he loves which is battle-practice. malachite understands that he might not go, but even if he doesn't proving that he could go satisfies him just as much as if he actually win. then he also doesn't have to face losing.

dislikes: outdoors. scared for his life when he sees a bug, obviously being outside is something malachite does not like. he is often characterized for this weakness, but it isn't his fault he can't stand anything that comes to wilderness. there are many things he can't stand, but they all seem to revolve around grit. malachite would never step in mud or get dirty or mess up his hair; he just believed there wasn't a purpose for that in life.

H.I.S.T.O.R.Y.

baby: pampered. being from a wealthy district you are born into money. malachite had every item a baby could ever need and nannies galore. he often could be seen being held in a rocker or playing with some expensive toy, anything to make him happy. there were many things given to him because the best had to have the best, thus his parents made sure he was given that. they also wanted to impress their friends so even as a little tyke he was enrolled in various early-training classes and athletics courses. yet all he could do would be flop around in some floaties in a pool or crawl across the gym floor.

toddler: observer. as a small boy, he was constantly watching everyones' actions. from a young age he knew he was important just based on how people treated him and all the attention he was given. malachite began to learn from his viewings and that is what slowly brought on his i'm better than the rest attitude. there wasn't anything he couldn't get and he was able to figure out different peoples' buttons. pushing those buttons always intrigued him because he would get just about anything out of it.

elementary: lazy. in school malachite had a difficult time because as a tiny-tot he never had to follow instruction, there weren't really rules. this led to him not wanting to do his work and expecting everything to be done for him. sadly things didn't work out this way and he slowly began to slack off in school which brought in parent intervention. his parents wouldn't stand for some train-wreck of a son and thus got him all of the tutoring he could possibly take until his intelligence met their expectations.

preteen: confused. during those awkward teenage years was when malachite began to discover his true self. he realized in some ways that he was different than everyone else, he often stared at things he shouldn't and never completely felt satisfied. this was that time when he started realizing his sexuality and that while he didn't mind who it was he liked, it was different to not like the social norm of society. malachite knew his parents wouldn't approve of that and that is why that secret has never come out nor will he let it come out. he does things with boys and girls, but obviously some things are better hidden.

teen: motivation. recently, malachite has found a new obsession in being the best he can be. that has led to a lot of extra training and a lot more pampering. who doesn't want their kids to go into the games in win? or at least that's what his parents believe and therefore they're rather happy with his current change in attitude. malachite wants to make everyone happy thus leading him to strive for this goal and hopefully conquer it.
