A.P.P.E.A.R.A.N.C.E.

hair: blonde. electra's hair shines when she walks through the door, it's like looking at an angel from heaven. she has beautiful golden curls that fall freely to just beneath her shoulders. her hair blows in the wind and bounces as she walks. the volume in her hair makes it look full and luscious; her bangs are grown out and blend with her hair to make it all look cohesive.

eyes: brown. seeing can often be difficult for electra, thankfully she has contacts that help her see. their proper coloring is brown, but with the help of contacts they seem to have copper flecks in them from the reflection of light upon her eyes. she flutters her eyes to draw attention there since people are often distracted by her birthmark. to her the eyes are the most important part of her body because it is where someone can see her true personality. not by how she looks, but by looking into her eyes and truly seeing her soul.

face: inverted. her cheek bones are high and her chin is angular created the effect of an upside triangle. electra has very high cheek bones that often grow even taller when she smiles. compared to the rest of her face, her nose is disproportional. it seems to take up the center of her face and take away from her other beautiful features. her lips are a light salmon color; they're sometimes chapped as she often sleeps with her mouth open at night. inside her chapped lips reveals pearly white teeth, that while they aren't the straightest, they're well kept and sparkle in the sunlight.

body: little. electra doesn't have much going for her when it comes to build. she's rather twiggy and doesn't have much muscle mass what-so-ever, but neither do most technological nerds. being barely taller than five foot and only weighing around eighty-five pounds, it is easy to tell why she is considered skinny. a big distraction is the dark-brown patch of skin on her arm. it's a splotchy birthmark that sometimes can deter from her true beauty because it's different. electra doesn't mind it, but tries to make up for it elsewhere just to gain acceptance.

clothing: childish. looking at electra you can tell she's a school-girl. her hair is kept free of any bows or pony-tails and the bounciness from when she skips really brings out her inner child. usually she can be seen wearing a small, worn, pastel dress that many girls wear to school. for shoes basic sneakers or sandals are all electra owns, they're worn on the edges, but as long as they get the job done that's all that matters.

P.E.R.S.O.N.A.L.I.T.Y.

positives: carefree. everything happens for a reason, that is the motto that electra lives by. she believes in a higher power and knows that their is always meaning behind even the most detrimental things in her life. rejoicing in life, she is constantly reminded about how lucky she is because there are many people out there that don't have near what she has. electra has an optimistic view on life as that was not only how she was raised to live, but also how she has accepted how to live. this makes her confident in all her decisions and even if they come back to bite her later there was obviously some meaning behind her choice.

negatives: reserved. electra is not one to come up and tell you all about her life as she doesn't want to relive bad memories and instead just wants to create new ones. being quiet comes along with this and she is very soft-spoken as if not to draw attention to herself. being very meticulous, she tries to make everything perfect and often has trouble satisfying herself. electra gets told that she comes off as hostile, since she isn't one to just go up and introduce herself. she waits for others to make the first move due to the risk of being hurt.

likes: art. there are many things that electra loves in the world, but the majority of them full under the category of creativity. expressing herself is something she enjoys and she is able to do that through forging anything that comes into her imagination. it comes along with her district three inventions side, that producing random works of beauty pleases her. electra fancies things with pristine beauty, which means that she is easily wowed by anything that has depth. things with depth show care, well-thought ideas, and hard-work.

dislikes: commotion. electra enjoys simple things, be relaxed and when things get jumbled it drives her ocd insane. too much going on at once is not a good thing. she gets bothered when things don't have a place, everything needs order and disorganization drives her insane. electra views hurrying as a sign of not having a healthy life-style because it means coming close to being late and she would never waste time. time is precious to her and therefore it is also precious to others, which is why she can't stand any kind of rushing because it shows weakness and fault.

H.I.S.T.O.R.Y.

baby: sickly. born on the ninth day of may, electra immediately was diagnosed with some health issues. she had a hole in her heart that led to a need for open-heart surgery to fix it. thankfully this was easy to get being in a technology district there were many different types of stints she could get put in. sadly her parents use all of their money for this, leaving them very poor. electra would often be left at home alone for many hours, while her parents worked a multitude of jobs to help pay off all of their debt.

toddler: spontaneous. during those teething years, electra began to develop her unique personality. this was when she first discovered her knack for creating art. she often would venture around their small house and yard collecting various items and tinkering with them. electra had become a wild child, always disobeying her parents and constantly causing a ruckus. she seemed to rebel against order and be very seclusive and to herself.

elementary: intelligence. her school years were a rather special time because electra became obsessed with learning. she wanted to know what everything was, what it did, why it did that, etc. there were many times when she'd stay up late reading, studying, or making problems for herself even if it wasn't assigned at school. electra had a curiosity that helped her begin to understand the capitol more than her fellow classmates who spent their time playing ball in the schoolyard. she understood the games and that it wouldn't be her fault were she to be drafted into their madness. this was what brought on her carefree lifestyle about living every moment to it's fullest.

preteen: alone. only now has electra started to become aloof as she nears those changes that begin to happen as you turn into a teenager. she often feels like there is no one that she can confide in and as if no one can guide her through these struggling times. her parents still work constantly so it isn't like she can talk to them about these things and instead it leads to her having to figure them out on her own. accepting this electra has made many discoveries and come to terms with the fact that she'll be an inventor. by embracing that, she has learned and better understood how to come up with things on the fly and different problem-solving strategies to help her later in life.
