Cranberry Butterfly, District 2

Cranberry is a muscular and tall girl of District 2. She is a about 5'7 in height, and tends to keep thin. She has short, unkept, fiery red hair, which adds an intimidating element to this girl. She has striking amber eyes, which in the right light, many will find rather pretty. Her skin has a slight tan to it, and her face is specked with freckles.

Cranberry has a militaristic fashion style. She often wears a coat, despite the warm temperatures of District 2. She has large, industrial boots, dirtied from constantly stepping through mud. Her face is generally giving others intimidating glares, though around people she knows and likes, she appears much happier and funner. Her figure is quite attractive the the boys in her class, though if they ever tell her, it doesn't end well.

Cranberry is a two-faced person. When she's with strangers, she's very cold and impatient. This is especially true when guys are hitting on her, which usually ends with them in a fight, and her as the victor. When with people she knows and likes, however, she's quite the opposite. She's sweet, and a good listener. She oftens finds herself in a giggly mood when she's with her sister.

Cranberry is a dedicated career. Her father has been training her for a while in case she was picked for the Hunger Games. Unlike her sister, Cranberry takes these training sessions seriously. She also uses these as opportunities to impress her father, a feat that she has found rather hard. She tries to be good with all forms of weaponry all around, but has troubles with the bow & arrow, and throwing knives, though she's been getting better with throwing knives recently.

Being the older sister to Sapphire, Cranberry can be very protective of her. Cranberry is also trying to get her sister to take her training more seriously, not wanting her to get killed in the Hunger Games, but is finding her sister to be stubborn. She also has a constant rivallry with her when it comes to training, Cranberry usually winning these competitions. She especially hates Sapphire's boyfriend, though this is mostly part of her habit of not trusting strangers. Although she loves her mother, she finds her rather lame, not being able to stand up for herself in any fight, and a bit too carefree. Altogether, stay on her good side, and don't screw with her family.

Cranberry grew up as a career. Her father has been training her and her sister for as long as they could hold a weapon, though Cranberry was always better than her sister. While Sapphire generally skipped out on training, Cranberry wanted to make her father proud, so she would even train during her free time to better herself. Cranberry's constant need to impress her father has ruined most of her social life, not having many friends besides her sister. It doesn't help that her father taught her not to get too attached to others, in case she one day would have to kill them.

Cranberry had a secret boyfriend once. She kept it a secret because she knew how much her father would get mad at her. For a while, it went well, mostly them running around, telling each other secrets. However, one day, he simply ended it, no explanation, no apologies, he just left her, and she hasn't seen him since. This has given her a mistrust towards men, which is why she hates others hitting on her.

Cranberry was originally hoping to get a job at a mine, the famous job of District 2. Her father, however, was less than happy, wanting her to marry a rich man and teach her kids to be careers. Her mother supported her from behind, saying that there was nothing wrong with her dream, but it didn't help. She eventually gave up, and just went with what her father wanted. She still dreams of simply working on her own though, instead of marrying some ass and putting her kids through hell.
