Valerie Summers- District 2

Valerie has blue eyes and long blond hair. Her hair goes down to her skinny waist. She takes care of it daily. Her skin is tanned and she weighs 5'6 tall. She has a skinny neck and a skinny but muscular torso.

Her arms and legs are also skinny yet strong and muscular.
She has ruby red lips and can usually be seen wearing a stylish blue top and jeans. She likes to keep her hair up in a pony tail. Sometimes she will put it up in a bun.

Valerie is kind to the people of her district. She doesn't mind lending a helping hand to those in need of help. She is smart and very agile for her age. She trusts anyone she meets.Her flaws are that she is afraid of getting beat up by others.

She feels neglected by her father, a drunk who's always beating her. Her father ignores her and refuses to believe he has any children. Valerie is the only child he has. She doesn't understand why her dad goes to work then comes home to watch TV, then drink until he's drunk and beat her. She has never done anything wrong in her life.

She gets upset by her fathers abuse but doesn't mind being chosen for the Games. She likes to go out and walk around the district. She also likes to chat with everyone in the district. She is angry that her dad gets away with beating her. She thinks being chosen to go in the arena is better than any beating her father gives her.

When Valerie was only five she heard her mom and dad arguing. Her father was out of control and drunk. They argued in the kitchen, and that is where Valeries Dad killed her mom. Valerie tried to get out of the house, but her father had gotten to her before she got outside. He hit her hard, he even damaged one of her ears so bad she couldn't even hear out of it.

Valerie always did well in school. She was never late, shenever caused trouble, and she always finished her schoolwork on time. She liked talking with her friends. She liked to go for walks and get away from her house. She never did talk about the beatings to anyone.

At night she would sneek out of the house. She didn't like the fact that she was living with her father. Sometimes she considered running away. But she never did run away. She dreaded the idea of ever going inside her house. She hoped one day she would get away from this drunk for good.
