Appearance:

Kaylyn Alloway is of normal height, although she does think herself to be somedays a bit too tall. She's just under five foot ten, however this suits her athletic body just fine. A long history of swimming has given her body a mostly permanent tan, that compliments her golden hair perfectly.

She's always been a bit shy about her facial features, due to a scar on her left cheek. However, she has full red lips and bright green eyes that direct away from the scar.

Her legs are long and muscular and are accompanied by slender feet. She has a few scars on her knees, mostly from falling off rocks and such, but nothing too bad (especially not as bad as her cheek).

She has delicate hands that can gut a fish in under three minutes, and slender "piano fingers" as her mother used to call them. Her arms are lengthy, and her entire appearance really just shouts lanky.

Personality:

Kaylyn has the tendency to be too harsh. She is rather unfeeling towards life in general, the hunger games don't bother her much- sure it's unfair, but what isn't?- unless the tribute were someone she cared about deeply.

She is passionate towards those she trusts, she has two best friends, and they mean the world to her. She is loyal, but tends to be a bit over protective of her three siblings.

One of her flaws lies in how anti-social she is. Kaylyn prefers the water of her district to the people. Her mind is only clear when she is swimming, so for that reason she spends quite a bit of her life in the water.

In her opinion (and every boy that she's ever met) she is too difficult to fall in love. To this day she has someone who's crazy about her, but she has been to hurt by Panem and her family to love again.

She is also not quick to tell her life's story, but rest assured every word that comes out of her mouth is one hundred percent truthful, for she hates liars.

History:

Kaylyn Hart Alloway was born on Christmas day, to the parents of Hemming and Alice. Alice died in childbirth, and Hemming became a fierce, and abusive alcoholic. He abused Kaylyn mentally and physically for eight long years, until he was dragged away by the Peace Keepers.

Kaylyn was put under the care of a local family, Mr and Mrs Jakin, they loved Kaylyn very much, however, the Peace Keepers began to suspect them to be working with the uprising, and they were dragged away, to where, she doesn't know.

At the time of Mr and Mrs Jakin imprisonment Kaylyn was 12 years old, she moved in with her great grandmother, Harley, this is where she currently lives.

As far as her education goes, Kaylyn is a very bright student, she gets very high marks on all of her tests and is loved by teachers, this has gained her a reputation as a bit of a brown-noser and has been at the centre of her inability to make friends, but that hasn't bothered her, she enjoys the company of books and water.
