Sofie is pretty average height, around 5'4. She is not terribly skinny but not fat. She is not that strong nor buff. But she is very stealthy. Sofie has pretty long legs and arms, which she hates because they get in the way. Her skin is pale and she has freckles along her nose and cheeks. Her face features make her beautiful to others, but she never really saw herself as pretty. Sofie has long, blondish hair. it sometimes falls in big ringlets or sometimes straight when she brushes it out. And her hair stops around the middle/topi-sh of her back. Her eyes are a pretty sea blue/green with long eye lashes. Her eyes are a good size for her face. She has distinctive cheek bones and kind of small ears. She has a long scar along the side of her jaw, and her jaw looks kind of disfigured. but she thinks she looks fine with or without a scar

On a regular day, she wears her hair in a messy bun on top of her head. Her hair is pretty smooth but gets tangled easily. She doesn't like her hair being in her face, it distracts her. And anyway, she thinks it looks better up. She doesn't really like to wear skirts or really fancy things. But she likes to wear comfortable pants a shirt and jewelry. But sometimes she likes to wear dresses. One thing thats odd about her is how everyone seems so tan, while she is so pale. Even if she tries to tan in the sun, she just ends up burning. But she likes to be unique like this.

Personality:

Sofie is mostly kind to everyone. Her Mood pretty much reflects on how people around her feel. If her best friend is in a bad mood, then she's in a bad mood. Is they're happy, then she's happy. But she gets aggravated easily. And she absolutely hates mean people and people who think they're sooooo cool. She isn't much of a leader, more of a follower. She doesn't really have a wide group of friends she kinda knows, but a small group she knows very well. She is pretty brave, but is really sensitive. She worries a lot but doesn't show it. People pretty much like hanging around her, if they like people like Sofie.

She is pretty like every other district 4 person. She loves being outdoors and LOVES to swim and climb. She absolutely loves water, being in it, walking along it. She can swim very well, like most of the other people in district 4. She does not see the games as an honor to be in. But will respect the capital for her family and friends safety.

Don't get on her bad side. She will forever remember what you did and will always try to break you. She learned how to be silent and how to take someone down in preparation in case she ever went into the games. She decided if she ever went there, she would use the weapon that most fascinates her- the bow and arrow. She even attempted to make her own bow to practice. Not so bad an attempt, but she could use it pretty well.

One thing that she hates is watching people get hurt physically. She hates the sight of bad wounds and the wounded. It gives her nightmares even now. Which is why she isn't that fond of watching the games. Sofie is the kind of girl who gives into pressure and pleading easily. Which she hates, but she can't help it.

As far as guys go, no. She has never had a boyfriend nor has anyone asked her. She questions why and kinda wishes she did. But she keeps her eyes open for the perfect one.

History:

Sofie was born in district 4 and grew up learning how to swim and fish. Her father taught her how to climb thing very well and high. He also taught her how to be silent and listen. She had a kind of pleasant childhood, except for the loss of her mother when she was 9. That week was the worst for her. She hates deaths and it scares her. She misses her mother very much, but knows she must be strong for her dad. Sofie is an only child, but she always wished she would be an older sister one day. But that day never came. She wished she could have someone to trust more than just friends and someone to cheer her on. But her friends are basically her sisters.

She mostly got along well with the others kids, and stayed out of trouble.....mostly. When she was 6, she was running along the side of the ocean playing in the sand and water with her friends. Then she decided to explore farther and came to jumping onto rocks jutting out of the ocean. She wanted to impress everyone so she went farther and farther. She was perfectly fine, but then one of the rocks she landed on was too small and slippery. She fell off the rock and slammed the side of her chin onto another rock. She passed out then and floated motionless in the water. Her friends ran to grab her dad, which jumped into the water to grab her. He brought her to their house and dressed the wound. He knew her jaw would look a little disfigured, but helped as much as he could. When Sofie got better, she was afraid she would look weird and people would stare. But she learned it doesn't matter what others think. She thinks she looks just fine.

Just like any other person, Sofie goes to school. She actually kind of likes school, even though it can be extremely boring. She likes seeing her friends there and hanging with them. She actually thinks the things they learn about is kind of interesting. Which is why she never cuts school and always tries to be on time. But she mostly does this just to not get in trouble. People are pretty nice to her, but she's not really popular. She is more of a follower in school. Besides school, a typical day would include going down to the coast and collecting shell fish to sell. They usually get a good amount to sell and eat. Enough to make it by. After all the business is taken care of, she walks down by the coast, sometimes with friends. Then she lays down on the beach or goes swimming. Or she would just go into town, walking around aimlessly. Usually in the morning, bright and early before school, she would go practice her fishing skills and bow and arrow skills.
