Vezius Clite

Vezius is a stocky, tall boy. His skin is tanned from the sun, and he goes to the beach to fish a lot. His hair is dirty blonde and looks like the sand on the beaches in certain lights. He has dark brown eyes, much like some of the shells he collects. He has big ears that stick out from his hair, which is a bit embarrassing. His face has freckles that are like specks, and most of which are on his nose and cheeks, from being in the sun too much. His fingers are strong, yet fast, and can grip objects to a point where they are literally not able to be pulled out of his hands. And they are quick and nimble enough to tie nets easily.

He is extremely good at fishing and can trap them in nets. He ocasionally wields a trident and stabs the fish with it to kill them. His skill for collecting things along the shore is un-questionable, and he can find anything from shells to mussels and clams. He can also run extremely fast and hop over high things like it's no big deal. But he can be hard to slow down and sometimes it is difficult to stop him.

Vezius is a very exceptionally kind boy, along with a smile that could almost light up a room. He is nice to everybody he meets and you don't have a great chance of seeing him get angry at you, unless you really bother him. He is a Career, but he doesn't actually like to talk about it much, as he is quite modest. He loves to speak and, on occasion, you can't make him quit. He likes to meet new people and is very open to friends.

One flaw of his that is a problem is that he is too trusting. In the Hunger Games this could possibly be fatal, since he could make allies with the wrong people. Outside of the Games, though, he accidentally can make friends with a bully, which could beat him up or be nasty to him. His second flaw is that he can annoy people. Some of the other guys fishing might shun him because of his talkative-ness.

Vezius is extremely protective of his little brother, Danyer. He would do anything for him and will always make sure he is safe. Every year he worries about the reaping. About his brother being picked. His brother is always in sight, and Vezius makes it so that he'll never get hurt.

When Vezius was born he was already talkative. He began talking slightly earlier than most his age. When he began going to school his teacher said that he was indeed very intelligent. The first day he went to the coast he loved fishing and gathering sea animals. His father taught him how to fish with a net and trident later on.

He soon became extremely good at trident-net fishing and some others envied him. Coming from the richer part of the district, he had lots of spare time on his hands. He didn't know what to do during that spare time, but soon took up the hobby of painting. When people weren't fishing, sometimes he waded into the shallows of the water or sat there peacefully on the beach. But things changed when his brother came along.

The day his brother was born, Vezius automatically wanted to protect him. He taught his younger brother to gather and help fish. This formed a bond between them and they are always near eachother. When his brother got hurt, Vezius fixed him. They were never found seperated, and still aren't today.
