I am running to school, just like I normally do. But I am scared, I am weak and I don't know why. It could be the fact that most of my friends are dating. It could be about the Hunger Games. It could be the fact that earlier today my Mum admitted that she wanted me and my sister reaped for the games. Maybe even the fact that my Dad is giving up hope that he will be around for another 5 years.
I wanted to die. I didn't know how I would kill myself, but the only reason worth living was for my sister. I mean, if I died, what would she do? I am her life and she is mine. We rely on each other. Well, that was how I felt, until now. In front of me, about 3 feet, is a boy. I have seen him around school, sure, but this is the first time I have seen him up close. My heart has been captured and the only way to get it back is to talk to him. But how? I have never fallen in love before.
What he is doing to me is crazy. My pulse rate has doubled, I am starting to sweat and I may be shy but now I have practically lost my voice and all strength to move. My eyes are staring at him, not losing sight at the slightest distraction. Please come up to me, I think. Make this easy and make the first move. I get why my friends love being captured by others. It's the best feeling I have had in years.
(OoC: I really need a male character around the age of 16-17 to play this character. Also, please don't make this upsetting by saying that your character doesn't want to date her. My character can't be lonely forever
