Coal Minorette
No one loves me
No one Cares
To them I'm just another piece
Not worth the Stares
No one Cares
To them I'm just another piece
Not worth the Stares
Your eyes are glazed as you look around you at the place that was supposed to be your home. These people were supposed to love you and care for you but since you'd started acting strange, they'd abandoned you to fend for yourself in this cruel world. Rain falls onto your face as you lie on the grass in the meadow of District 12. You're soaked to the bone but don't care. No one else cares so why should I? The thought struck you as not being out of the ordinary but should have been. If anyone cares about me, anyone at all, please give me a sign you pray silently to whomever is possibly listening. You know that your prayers probably won't be answered because they never are but it gives you some comfort to think that there's somewhere better than this place. This hell hole where you're completely alone with no one who gives a flying rats ass about what you're feeling. You feel very small as the rain drenches you. Maybe I'll die of hypothermia or something it would be better than living in this. But then again, anything would be better than that.[/blockquote][/color]
You roll onto your stomach and feel every raindrop hit your back like a tiny needle but don't do anything about it. You've given up on life and just want it to be over. Maybe, if I bury my face in the ground, I'll die You thought, looking at the wet earth just beneath your face. A growl in your stomach reminds you that you haven't eaten but if you were going to die, it wouldn't matter if you were hungry or not, soon you wouldn't be hungry and you would be free. You tasted dirt in your mouth as you buried your face in the ground, feeling the oxygen leaving your body. You close your eyes and hold your breath.
So this is what it feels like to die you thought as you felt yourself slipping away from this life. You can't breathe and your mind has started to die from lack of oxygen. You felt lighter than you've ever felt before and it feels quite nice. This isn't so bad, if fact I think I like being dead you thought before you felt your heartbeat slow and finally stop.
When you finally opened your eyes again, you found that you were no longer in district twelve, instead, you were in a beautiful forest full of birdsong. You looked around, confused, until you heard a voice in your head. Welcome home, Coal. Joy filled you as you ran through the forest and into the afterlife
ooc: Coal is dead.
