It seemed to be taking a very long time for Fenna to rejoin them in the livingroom, he and her father were running out of things to talk about. Just when the conversation was about to come to a halt Fenna came bounding down the staires and walked into the room. She sat in a chair across from the two of them and tucked her legs up underneath her, and he couldn't help but admire her attire. She was dressed in a vibrant orange dress, with foxes stitched into the hemming. It looked as if they were running along the path created by the stitching around them all around the dress. It complimented her beauty very well, so much so that he almost caught himself staring dumbly at her. She spoke a few words that Reagan heard but didn't quiet comprehend. Than she got up and walked down the hallway towards the kitchen. Both he and her father heard them talking to eachother but couldn't make out what they were saying, soon though both of them were called into the dining room where they took their seats.
Fenna's father sat at the head of the table across from her mother and Fenna and Reagan sat across from eachother. When the meal was placed infront of him he thought that his life had come to an end and he had reached paradise. A warm homecooked meal, it had been so long since he had anything like this. For a moment he just sat and smelled the meal and took in the steam that rose off of it before attempting to dig in. Remembering just in time the proper ettiquet for eating he picked up his fork and began to eat his food. Only a second had gone by before Fenna's mother asked how they had met. Looking back on it there wasn't really a story to it. He had been wandering the streets and had found her leaning against a tree getting covered in snow from it.
"Well let me see, I was wandering the streets after running and errand for someone, and my eyes caught sight of the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. She seemed to sparkle in the light of the sun as it glinted off of her, her perfect body silhouetted for all to admire. I couldn't help but find myself drawn to her. Like the sailors of old were drawn to the sirens I was drawn to this most beautiful girl.
Perhaps some of the story had been an exaggeration, but for the most part it was true. There was something about her that had drawn him in, her smile, her beauty, he wasn't sure, but there was something special about her he could tell.
