Hey Nikki, welcome to THGRPG! In answer to your questions:

1) Your character dies. As in, they automatically become inactive and you can't use them anymore :c

2) Nope! You can keep your claim for the next 2 consecutive games - so, lets say your character dies in the 64th, you can keep your FC (should you wish to re-use it for a different character) up until the 67th Games begins.

3) Yup! All Victors are automatically void of being put into the reaping. In fact, if you become a Victor, you have to wait another Games before putting any more of your characters into the check. It isn't compulsory to put all your characters in the Reaping Check, however - I've left one or two of mine out this time round. You can only have one Victor, though - so say one of Kay's or Clover's characters were to be reaped, they're allowed to play in the Games, just not win.

4) If your character is reaped and you do not wish for them to be a tribute, you post your reaction and then in an ooc comment say '_____ has stepped down from being a tribute'. You can then submit another one of your characters for Volunteering (as per example here with Rook in the 62nd Games) or let somebody else have a go at volunteering. Volunteering is open when a mod posts the open spot is available, and it's first come, first serve.
