Appearance:
Sean is a man of the water. His thin, dark hair is usually strewn wherever it wishes. His eyes, curious and kind, are always looking; searching, trained from a lifetime of watching for fish. His arms are thick and toned, hardened from many days of hauling nets over the side of a boat. And his 6'1", 150 pound build in general, was pretty muscly.
He wears thin, short shirts (if he wears a shirt at all) when he's outside. He prefers grubby, baggy pants, that have at least 8 zipped pockets, always crammed with old knives, shells, and edible seaweed.
He also rarely wears shoes, even on the wooden deck of his boat. His soles are hardened from many years as a youngster running out to swim without throwing anything on save some shorts. If you spot him walking down a street in town, there'll probably be a dog with him. It's a different one every time, but dogs seem to gravitate to Sean. Even he doesn't know where they come from, but he enjoys their company more than any human he's ever met.
Personality:
Short version: Sean is kind. Long version: Sean is kind. He likes taking a few fish from a days catch and handing them out to friends at a local tavern, and then buying a round for everyone. He's a little rough, and always ready for a fight, but he can be seen stopping to help old ladies with some little errand, or tossing a seashell to a curious child walking the beach.
Other than his kindness, Sean is a fighter inside. He dreams of a life without Panem, a life without Districts and fences public execution. He longs for freedom, true freedom, that even he can't seem to grasp when he disappears into the sunrise looking for the perfect catch. He sort of loses his mind when he's on the water, and just stares into the distance, saying or doing nothing until he decides to put down a net. And almost as much as freedom, Sean longs for someone to love. One of the many reasons he can be seen caring for and tending to street dogs, he has had no family since he was cast out of his house when he was 15 (his father disowned Sean as for the fact that at the time, Sean despised fishing). He has a few odd friends here and there, but no true person to talk to, to open up to, to laugh with and cry with. His only happiness is in the water and the dogs.
History:
Underneath Sean's merciful appearance there is a year no one else knows about. From when he was 15, to 16, (lying about his age) he spent his time in a boxing ring, pounding down men 3 times his age and weight. He got good at it, and made considerable money, but after a year-long contract with a boxing club, they learnt of his real age, and sent him back into the streets.
He went back into the fishing industry, having only helped his father with bits when he was much younger, Sean had a lot to re-learn. But learn he did, and only a month after losing his boxing job, he purchased his own personal fishing boat, which could be fully operated by one person. He never could figure out why he hated fishing so much as a young teen, refusing to learn almost anything from his father, he would run out and find some ocean cliff-cave, and sit angered at his father's discipline.
Currently, nothing has changed for Sean. He still fishes, drinks in a tavern, gets in a few fights here and there, and goes home to his scummy apartment wishing he had someone to sympathize with.
