Appearance
Ace has been told time and time gain that he is a handsome yound lad. He, however, rarelt wastes a thought on his appearance. His hair, a deep oaken brown, is completely unkept. It is washed once a week, if it's lucky. Like most young boys, he enjoys bathing in mud, so finding him with a dirty face is more than common. His glowing sky blue eyes were inherited from his mother, filled with wisdom.
With a height of 5.5", he is a little smaller than his friends. At first glance, Ace appears a weakling, he is fairly strong. However, the muscles in his legs are the strongest, giving him the advantage of agility. Due to his occupation, his arms are regularly masked in burns from welding metal and scratches from make-shift tools. Also, as he trains as a Career, these wounds are usually joined by the occasional bruise.
As for clothing, Ace is very laid back. He has multiple shirts, each requiring repair. All have at least two patches of odd matieral stitched in. When he want to appear especially clever, he wear a pair of old black frames.
Personality
Ace has a reputation within the district for being smart. To adults, he's nothing but a know-it-al, but for the children, he is the wise one. The one with all the answers. When he is not with his many friends, he enjoys sitting and taking in all that is around him. He considers himself particularly good at observing things. Sometimes, when he is thinking and he is interupted, he awakes from his daze in a fiery temper, something that would not usually be encounted. Ace has lost many friends this way, but gained many more.
Along with his general knowledge, he is a natural quick thinker, giving him a witty edge. Sarcasm is offen used as his defence mechanism. With his mates, he is always joking, and sometimes, he can be found bullying and making fun of the weak and feeble. H'd always feel guilty, but he'd never be able to stop himself from striking again.
Though he considers himself a celebrity within his district, he wats more. He wants real fame, throughtout all districts, and the Capitol. Offen, on stary evenings, he will still on the windowsill, and imagine himself in a glittering Capitol-designed suit, being interviewed by the famous Casear. Kindly accepting my golden Victor crown from the president. Fame was the Games. He is Fame.

Ace is the second eldest of five children. He and his older sister, are the only two siblings that can remember their mother, that died soon after the youngest's birth. Though at first he held a grudge, he soon warmed to his sibling. His father was unable to support so many children alone, we he invited his brother into the household. Ace was taught everything he knows about engineering by his uncle. They regularly joke about running away to district 3, 'Where all the smart 'uns live.'
When Ace was 11, just after his uncle moved in, he had never felt so alone. He understood the full force of the families situation. He knew his father couldn't feed all of them, on top of the grief the loss of his wife had brought him. Too young to work, he decided to dedicate the times he didn't spend training, creating and repairing old machines. He found a rusty robot in the district dump, and took it home. After spending countless hours working on it, he had a fully functional metal man. Rumors of his talent spread the school, and he began his mountain of friends from there.
