Appearance:
Scorpio has just to the tip of his ears length dark brown hair, which looks black until the light shines on it evenly. It's very curly and would be an afro, if it wasn't kept trimmed short and laid under a hat. His eyes are a coconut shell brown. His skin color reflects what his natural heritage is, Hispanic, and has a somewhat average build. He weighs 165 pounds and stands at 5 feet seven inches.Personality:
He has broad shoulders and thick, muscular arms. He's good with his hands, working as a fisherman on the weekends with his uncle. He has only a few patches of acne here and there, but has otherwise smooth skin. Scorpio is also very well-known for having adorable dimples that dip into his cheeks whenever he grins.
Scorpio is athletic, playing on his school's waterpolo team and jogging every early morning. He avidly performs yoga and tai-chi during his free time off of school with close friends. He doesn't like heavy weightlifting, and claims to would rather cut his legs off than weightlift.History:
Scorpio is friendly, kind and caring. When his friends have a trouble, they immediately come to him. His knowledge is almost unbelievable, especially since he's only seventeen and acts as if he's been a therapist for thirty years. He desires to become a school teacher one day, but those dreams may not ever be realized because he can't stay committed to school.
Being a teenage boy, he has his tendencies to cut class and just hang out with friends. He's gained enough absences to nearly be expelled from school, yet he just doesn't care enough. Although he has so many other good qualities, his biggest problem is being a good student. While he still comes to school to pick up and drop off homework, take exams and just attempt to attend, he isn't making enough of an effort. His grade point average is faltering and everyone calls him a "dumb jock", neither of which are completely true.
Scorpio Walsh was born in District Four to his fourty year old mother, Magdalena, and his fifty two year old father, Pedro. Magdalena died during childbirth and Pedro has been out of the picture for his entire life. Magdalena's sister and her husband, Carlotta and Jovan, adopted him when he was only four weeks old. He grew up with them and their two other kids, both in their late teens at the time. By the time he was five years old, he could already run a mile in ten minutes and was very interested in exercising. Jovan needed a break from this rambunctious and energetic child, so he allowed Scorpio to work at his fishing business. There, Scorpio learned the ropes- literally- of being a fisherman.Codeword: ODAIR
At twelve, Scorpio was already taller than the rest of his classmates and just as strong. Scorpio's older brothers, Antonio and Isaac, had just returned home from university and made Scorpio feel much more secure. He had gained lots of friends due to his high self-confidence, but soon found the wrong crowd. He began skipping school to hang out at the local shopping centre, which was not how Carlotta and Jovan wanted him raised. After a stern couple talking-to's, he promised to try harder.
Promises were broken, and he is now hardly passing any of his classes. Multiple times, he's been requested to have meeting with the principal but has ditched them all but once, when he learned that any more absences would warrant an expulsion and a report filed to the Capitol. Out of fear, Scorpio began going to his classes more often but still hasn't made good enough grades. He is still a fisherman, but now does harder work such as hoisting up the nets full of fish and getting the catches to reputable merchants. Scorpio, today, has a few good friends and one romantic interest named Claudette, but things can change fairly quickly, can't they?
