(in-DRAH-zuh-nee)
Age 18
Female
District 3
Appearance
Indrazane has a very innocent look. Her large curious eyes, her long sparkling hair, and her petite stature all contribute to this. However, she is also very beautiful, not in an intimidating way, but rather in a young and wholesome way. Indrazane has genuine, long blond hair. When she’s standing in the sun, it almost looks like it is glowing. Naturally, her hair is quite a bit curly, especially on the ends. Her hair is also very thick, but never frizzy, always smooth as silk. Indrazane has long sidebangs, but she usually likes to pull them out of her face some way, for they do get irritating.
Indrazane’s eyes are always wide with curiosity, or even more often, wide with fear. Her eyes glow, just like her hair, a sparkling, icy blue. Her eyelashes, with are extremely long and extremely thick, emphasize the blue in her eyes. They bring out that sparkle of interest, that glimmer of admiration. Her eyebrows are thin and exact, giving her eyes a more feminine appearance. Indrazane’s eyes almost always seem to look soft and fragile, sometimes deeming her younger than she actually is.
Indrazane’s face is soft and pale. Her cheeks are naturally pink, for she blushes rather often. Indrazane has a few light freckles across her nose and cheeks, but in most cases, they are barely noticeable. Because of her fine genetics, Indrazane usually does not have much acne. Her lips are thin, a bit too small for the rest of her face. Nevertheless, other than those few freckles, her tiny lips, and the fact that her cheeks are a bit large when she smiles, many regard her face as nearly flawless.
Indrazane is a bit smaller in stature, or rather, quite petite. She is mostly bone, with barely any muscle. Her hands are small, but very smooth, while she also wears a very small shoe size. Overall, Indrazane comes across as young. Everything about her looks innocent, fragile, but also welcoming and affable at the same time.
Personality[/b][/color]
Indrazane is afraid of everything and anything. Well, except for people. Indrazane suffers from anxiety disorder. Sometimes, she doesn’t even know why she’s freaking out. Naturally, that’s what she just does. When she’s all alone, with no one to talk to, she is afraid: afraid that something bad will happen, afraid that her life will somehow end. Indrazane has too many fears to handle. She can’t watch the Hunger Games without covering her eyes and having a panic attack. Just seeing blood, murder, and betrayal makes her get extremely anxious and afraid. Ultimately, Indrazane is an extremely emotional person, which is really what stimulates her fear. She is afraid of the future and even more afraid of ending up alone. Indrazane fears nearly everything, except for well, speaking out.
Indrazane clings to people. She needs them in order to survive mentally. Naturally, Indrazane is a very social person, and she just loves talking. She could continue a conversation for hours; somehow, being around other people just makes her feel alive and whole. It’s when she’s not around people that she starts having her panic attacks and meltdowns. Indrazane can’t help herself sometimes. Indrazane loves meeting new people; she’s always a very welcoming person, always in a joyful mood, and always putting a smile on someone else’s face, at least when she’s in public. She loves being heard by others, and even more, she loves hearing what others have to say. Indrazane’s the kind of person that everyone wants to be around, the girl that not only has something to say, but also, an ear to listen.
Logically, Indrazane is an optimistic person. She sees the good in people, rather than the bad, and rarely does she ever judge. Indrazane is friendly, always welcoming others and always understanding them thoroughly. She is extremely empathetic, and when others are worried, it worries her too. Indrazane loves the feeling of knowing that she has someone at her side that is supporting her. She knows she needs it, for she knows that internally, she has various weaknesses.
Indrazane is very stressed when she is alone and when she feels like she doesn’t belong. Many of the other District Three citizens are extremely smart and capable, especially when it comes to math and enginerring. However, Indrazane isn’t like that. In fact, her grades are always slipping in school, as hard as she tries to get them up. She considers herself not smart, which is a major stress factor in her life, especially when she has her parent’s shoes to fill.
Indrazane is also a very clumsy person, which only leads to her own embarrassment. She tends to have a knack for ruining things on accident, always ending up in the wrong place at the wrong time, and somehow failing due to her lack of intelligence. Usually, Indrazane brushes her clumsiness off, never really letting embarrassment get to her. However, some people start to get annoyed by her incessant clumsy and clueless behavior.
Although Indrazane is extremely clumsy, anxious, fearful, sometimes weak, and not too smart, she does have an extremely large heart for those whom she is close to. Her empathy expands to great lengths, and she fears harm coming to others. Indrazane is a harmless person: too afraid of hurting anyone’s feelings. She’s always there to help, or at least try, when something’s gone wrong. Indrazane is extremely loyal: she’s there for you until the end. Sometimes, she tends to put a little too much trust into people, just because she is so optimistic. Then, it’s always her fragile heart that seems to break. Indrazane is definitely gullible, but in most cases, she doesn't deserve the pain she receives from it. She's like a child in many ways: ignorant but innocent.
History
Indrazane’s brother, Marco, was born three years before her. Born to a different father, they were technically only half-siblings, but Indrazane and Marco still grew extremely close. Marco, a gentle boy, was always there to look out for his little sister. Indrazane looked up to Marco, but each of them still respected each other's space. True, they got in fights, even at a young age, but Marco’s care for his sister and Indrazane’s respect for her brother always brought them back together.
When Indrazane was three, her mother and father had another child, Hadley. Hadley looked a lot like Indrazane, or at least, they shared many more physical similarities than Indrazane did with Marco. However, Hadley was mentally, quite different from Indrazane and Marco. While Indrazane and Marco were both naturally very gentle people, Hadley was much more destructive than the two of them. He didn’t deal with his anger easily, and honestly, wasn’t as attached to Marco and Indrazane.
Indrazane’s mother died in result of giving birth to Hadley. Indrazane, still being only three, didn’t really understand what had happened. However, as she grew older, she began pointing fingers at Hadley; it was his fault, wasn’t it? Either way, Indrazane started to grow apart from Hadley, not that they had ever been close in the first place. From a young age, it was obvious that Hadley was an indepedent child, wanting to do things on his own.
Honestly, Indrazane started to miss not having another female figure in the house. She had trouble remembering her mother, but she still felt terrible every time she realized she lacked one. Marco started spending more time with his real father, only pulling the family apart more. Indrazane never really knew what Hadley was up to: he was usually off somewhere, and her father: well, he had to work for the family.
Therefore, Indrazane spent quite a bit of time alone as she transitioned into her preteen and teen years. Marco got a job when he was old enough, and Indrazane grew weaker as time wore on. Stress filled her life. She didn’t know what to do with herself anymore. She felt like a failure at nearly anything. Her grades were slipping, she couldn’t understand any of the math that they learned in school, and she failed to find a job that suited her. She just wasn’t smart enough.
Indrazane’s home became less of a home with time. Every day she came home from school, Indrazane was always completely alone. Hadley was most likely off in his room, while both Marco and her father were at work. She started fearing the noises she heard during the night, paranoid over the littlest things, just because she couldn’t handle the loneliness. Soon, Indrazane started having panic attacks, on and off. She could never predict when they would happen, but they usually only happened when she was alone in her room.
In public, though, Indrazane felt alive. School was her favorite place, because even though she didn’t feel all too smart there, or anywhere for that matter, she was surrounded by people. People were all she needed to survive. Indrazane made many friends at school, but at home, she was still anxious and afraid of the future to come. Indrazane’s father put a lot of pressure on her, especially to find a job. However, she sunk under the pressure, unable to meet her family’s expectations.
Worse, when Indrazane was sixteen, Marco found himself a girlfriend whom he really loved. He moved out of the house, leaving Indrazane alone with her father and Hadley, and instead, moved in with his girlfriend, Sydney. Indrazane felt extremely betrayed. Did Marco really fail to notice the panic attacks that Indrazane would have in the night? The things she had somehow come to fear? The way she looked up to him so much? It didn’t really matter any more. Indrazane spent as much time away from the house as she could. Still, fear was evident in Indrazane’s life, especially in those one or two weeks a year, when she was forced to watch children kill each other to the death. That she could not handle.
